Located on Lake Wylie in the newly developed McLean South Shore, Drift on Lake Wylie is a chef-inspired lakeside chophouse. At the forefront of the Lake Wylie dining scene, our food is simple and seasonal—home to prime cuts of beef, local seafood, and homemade pasta. Whether you join us for dinner, pop by the bustling bar for a quick bite, or book one of our private dining rooms for a special dinner or cocktail party, we look forward to serving you soon.

Located 8 minutes south of Belmont off South New Hope Road and North of Lake Wylie just off Pole Branch Road.

Our Corporate Chef, Rogger Torres, has curated an incredible 5-course menu that we know you'll love! *The menu is priced at $100++, with all beverage sold separately. Automatic service fees and tax are separate from the menu price. Parties of 8 or more are welcome, so bring your friends and family! Reservations are required for this special event.

    The food was delicious! The lobster risotto was amazing. My husband had the filet with lobster and he said it was cooked to perfection and the meat was so tender. Our server Hayley was so sweet.

    Out with my wife, Lisa for date night. She had the stuffed flounder. I had the extra large fillet. Medium rare lightly blackened. Cooked to perfection. We also tried the marbled potatoes, which were wonderful. Very large portions. She had the shrimp cocktail and I had the lobster bisque soup. Also tried the half dozen oysters. It was very busy that night. Even the manager, Jennifer sat us down. The other manager came by to say hello as well. Ross. We bought $100 gift card and they gave us a complementary $20 meal voucher for later which was nice. And to top it all off we had an amazing waitress named Haley. We have been there before and she always remembers what drinks we want. Had them ready for us at the table. A Prosecco and a double knob Creek Rye on ice. Never had an empty glass. Overall, I can only give this a five star rating only because they don’t have six stars on the app  A+ all around

    Highly recommend! The attention to detail was impressive. Our meal was delicious, service impressive and all made us feel like a valued customer.

    Beautiful facility, service was slow. Took a long time for food to come out. Similar sized party came in after us and left before we were done. Food was good, value was great! Would come back again

    Haven’t been here in a while and thankfully we were not disappointed. The menu was varied and we decided on the lobster Benedict and it was delicious. The eggs were perfectly poached and there was a good amount of tender lobster. Our server Marshall was very attentive and friendly. Very pleased with our overall experience.

    We dined on a gift card, for which we are VERY appreciative. Our server was fantastic and the food, as always was superb. I would like to give them five stars, but until they do something about the acoustics, I can’t. It is so loud, you can barely hear your server. Most of this comes from poor design, placing the bar in the middle of the restaurant. But screens and sound deadening materials would really help.

    Ordered a ribeye medium, but sent it back because it was too bloody. Brought it back, cooked better
