Dulcie's is a reimagined family cottage turned restaurant bar. The menu consists of a small selection of tasty burgers, oysters, seasonal cocktails, delicious wine, and friendly chat. Dulcie’s has a long bar to sit at, a beer garden to hang in, a fireplace to warm up next to. All of our menus consider local produce and the atmosphere we aim to create is cosy, fun and comfortable. Think cool grandma crossed with cheeky grandpa vibes.

    Wow, this place was so loud. The staff seemed to be loving it, but the customers were mostly families with school-age kids and retirement age groups. One customer asked for the music to be turned town, and they were refused by the head waiter who was dancing to the beat. Good songs, but honestly, I couldn't talk it was so, so loud. There are no fans inside, so we were sweating buckets on a 30-degree day. I felt so bad for the kitchen staff cooking in the tin can out the front. Can someone please use some money being made from the $26 per burger to build them a commercial kitchen?!?! Food was yum but super limited. They were out of oysters and fish burgers the day we visited. That's what you get when your kitchen is a tin can. My advice would be to sit outside and away from the speakers.

    We had a table booked for 8. Some of us were locals and some were visitors. Food and drinks were good and bar staff were friendly. But it took 1hr 15 for our food to arrive with no warning or apology. Quite surprising for what is quite basic food to prepare. Then 20 mins after it being delivered a very rude waitress told us we had to leave as had another table booking. Despite many other tables being available. The rude service offset what would otherwise have been a nice afternoon lunch out.

    We had a lovely meal at Dulcie’s. The menu is obviously limited but what they do they do very well. Oysters burgers and chips all great. The service was friendly and efficient, even if the staff were a bit overworked. Our only criticism was that the 70’s disco music was too much and too loud. First 20 mins was ironically fun. After 50 mins we just wanted to get the hell out of there. (Unless that was your intention…? ;-) )

    We had a great time at Dulcie's. The burgers were amazing, tasted like old school burgers. The drinks were great and the music totally fitted into the vibe of the place. We will be back.
