Duner's, brought to you by Ten Course Hospitality, is a casual fine dining restaurant located five miles west of Charlottesville in the village of Ivy, Virginia. Our menu changes daily, allowing our chefs to use the best ingredients seasonally available. We have an extensive wine list, a full bar and a very experienced service staff. Established in 1983, our goal has always been to serve great food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our portions are generous, our ingredients are the finest and we want everyone who walks in the door to become a regular customer!

    Last night we had oysters as an appetizer (particularly good last night), and stuffed rainbow trout and polenta as an entrée. The trout and polenta were good but not as flavorful as we had expected. The service by Lynn was exceptional, as usual, and the friendliness of all the servers was wonderful--also, as usual.

    As usual the food and service were superb. We sat on the porch which is new, it was excellently outfitted.

    Unfortunately, when I made reservations for last night, the new menu had not been posted on-line and I did not realize that the menu had been truncated (apparently for a wedding rehearsal dinner). Anyway, there were no appealing entrees last night, so we had salad and bread (both delicious, as usual) and appetizers. The mussels were particularly good last night with a thicks and adherent sauce. Service from Lynn was excellent, as usual. It would be nice to post menus in a timelier fashion so better decisions can be made about reservations. As I've said here MANY times, we are big fans of Duner's. Yet, sometimes nothing on the menu for a certain time appeals, and it would be nice to know that prior to going to the restaurant.

    We ALWAYS have a great meal at Duners. It is ALWAYS our “go to restaurant “ when we are in Charlottesville.

    Excellent salmon, mussels, crab cakes and beef. Ice cream sandwich scrumptious. A wonderful night out.

    Hannah was just what we needed tonight, she was exceptionally attentive but also kind and generous. Duners is a home run every time I have been there for 30 years

    Great non-chain option in Ivy. I went on a Sunday evening after a long day of wine tastings thinking it wouldn't be busy. Man was I wrong. This place is super popular. As dinner arrived I was able to see why. I had the tenderloin and my wife had the crabcakes. Both were cooked perfectly. We can't wait to go back again.

    We wanted to try a new spot for a Sunday dinner to celebrate our son's birthday and enjoy getting out of town to try these gems in neighboring towns. Duner's did not disappoint, we went early because we were bringing kids and our server, Kala, was fantastic. This has a pretty classic high end restaurant in a country house type setting feel. The food was excellent.
