    Honestly earls has gone down hill. Service was ok but annoying the server was not up front about the HH special and charged me for the 5oz not the 7oz that was on HH (better deal clearly). Sushi was good. Steak had good flavor but we asked for medium and it was more medium rare. Went for my bf birthday dinner and overall it wasn’t great. Tried the bourbon pecan pie and it was terrible - like hockey puck and the sugar just stuck to your teeth. And they ran outta Sauvignon blanc (for 2 nights in a row… I dunno I’ve worked at several restaurants and you go out and buy more bottles if you run out). Overall not great. Yes earls is more a bar atmosphere and loud than restaurant ambience but still it’s declined since even a few years ago. If you’re looking for just drinks and appetizers - this is the place.

    Our experience tonight dining with Earls was very disappointing. We have dined with Earls numerous times in the past, but after our last few experiences and tonight’s, we have decided it will be our last. We were there celebrating a friend of mines birthday which unfortunately was not special. We were sat at our table at 6:00pm, and ordered food and drinks promptly. Our food and drinks arrived within the hour. However, the service was subpar. Unfortunately it took over an hour to get our checks and finish the evening. We were there for 2.5 hours tonight but we had finished eating within about an hour. Our server, whom we can’t recall his name, apologized about the delay several times. The manager came over to our table to apologize for the delay and to appreciate our patience, but unfortunately it was very unprofessional when he commented on my husband’s appearance. We were listening to what he had to say about the delay when the manager looked over at my husband, whom was sitting quietly minding his own business, and says to him that he can tell by the way he looks on his face he wasn’t pleased / happy. Which is a complete misjudgment and unprofessional. We were offered complimentary dessert for the birthday, which still took a very long time to arrive, but we waited. Then we were offered complimentary drinks. Which this late in the night were already ready to leave. All in all it was a very disappointing experience, the food order and drinks orders had to be corrected, we were charged for the appetizer size fries instead of a side fries, and other issues. We are understanding people but it’s disappointing to hear every time the server comes over an apology about something new each time. This will be our last time at Earls.

    Good food, steak could have been hotter. The heat was out in the restaurant so diners had to wear their coats

    Stuart, I apologize for the issue with our heating system (which has since been repaired) and know how much of an inconvenience this was for you and our other diners for the day and a half we had issues and were waiting on parts.     On my last visit about a month ago, they were debuting their new, made in their own kitchen veggie-burger. It was fantastic, made with beans and very fresh and flavorful. Went back today hoping for the same, in fact I had been raving about it so much that my husband, a committed carnivore, decided to order the same. Disappointingly, although I asked the server and she confirmed that the patties were still made fresh in their own kitchen, what we received was absolutely positively a store-bought patty out of a freezer box. It was edible but I would never go to a restaurant for that. And as a vegetarian with few other things on the Earl menu that are appealing to me, I fear it will be our family's last visit... sadly, because we really love the atmosphere.

    Order a cheeseburger, the cheese wasn't melted, and fries were semi cold. The burger seemed like it was from a kids' menu. My wife ordered the tacos, and the chips were stale. We've been there before and the food was much better.
