Indulge in an unforgettable dining adventure at Earth, one of Maine's top restaurants. Nestled among balsam and birch trees, Earth embodies community, connecting exceptional cuisine with dedicated farmers and foragers.

Our farm-to-table menu celebrates locally-sourced ingredients, including meats, seafood, and vegetables from our organic gardens. Crafted by Chef Justin Owen, each dish boasts distinct, handcrafted flavors.

For intimate gatherings, reserve the Potting Shed for up to six guests or the Painting Shed for up to 12 (food & beverage minimum required, call to reserve).

Note: Table reservation durations: 2 hours for parties of two, 2.5 hours for parties of four or more. Walk-ins currently unavailable. Check for new openings regularly.

Celebrate the dazzling New Year in an atmosphere like the magical Earth for dinner and a Casino themed evening! Ring in the New Year with high hopes and even higher stakes with glamour, thrill, and luxury! Enjoy a five menu with a bubbly welcome toast, Casino entertainment, champagne at midnight. Reservations for late seating are between 6:30-9:00PM - $235++ per person. Dinner reservation made for New Years Eve include a 72-hour cancellation policy. There is a $50 per person cancellation fee for reservation cancelled within 3-days time.

Poor directions for a late night reservation, ambience in the restaurant was lovely. Food and drinks were very good. Often felt forgot about by waiter.

As a local, we have frequented Earth several times. This was a last minute reservation. On a very cold evening, we we seated by an exit door which in and of itself was chilly, and then made more so by patrons who must have been dining in the separate, outdoor garden shed who needed to use the restroom. While the food was good, all of our dishes were not hot enough and I felt slightly under seasoned. Service was attentive while not boing intrusive. One suggestion would be to direct the outdoor patrons to enter through the main exit which is closer to the restrooms anyway.

Earth is an experience that you should take part in. The food and the presentation is wonderful. The menu selections have improved over the years so we feel that's a positive note. We have been there many times and last night was the first time we were unhappy with the service. We actually had to send our mains back because they both were room temperature, if that. Very surprising for Earth. One of our servers, not the actual waiter, really was inexperienced. She couldn't answer a couple of simple questions and then placed our 1st to the wrong person, again, very surprising for Earth. Lastly, we weren't asked if we would like coffee/tea or an after dinner drink. When you go to Earth you expect the best of the best and last night wasn't their best. In saying all this, we will return.

Earth is amazing. The food is so fresh and presentation is beautiful. The service is outstanding, and the courses served just the right time apart from each other. It feels like you are dining in the most upscale lodge imaginable. We will be back!!

The service was pretty slow, but the food was not as good as a few years ago when I visited this restaurant. For example, I ordered a butternut squash soup with lobster and there was one little tiny piece of lobster in it. My dining companions felt the same way we each got a three course Menu and it was $95 each. One other person dining with me, had the lobster pasta dish and it was more tomatoes than two small pieces of lobster in it. I’m in no hurry to go back unfortunately because I used to love this place.

Decadence celebrated and delivered with expertise and no expectations. This was the cherry on top of our 10th wedding anniversary and worth every penny!

It was an amazing experience all around. The ambiance was incredible, cozy and upscale. The food was quite literally some of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Service was also top notch. I would absolutely recommend for a special dining experience.
