   Such a lovely tea and food. Wonderful server…took such great care of us. Great way to celebrate Art in Bloom and the start of spring.

   We were the 1st to be seated of 3 others groups that came later, but we were greeted last by a server; server checked on us once shortly after being served the tea service, but did not check on us at any point thereafter; our tea had run out & we wanted more water, but was some time before server ever came over so that we could ask for it; he did bring more water & tea at that time; food served was subpar; quality could have been better as well as variety; would have liked more savory & less sweet options! …would also prefer warm scones & more scones… missed deviled eggs from previous years; food was better overall previous years as well. I probably won’t do another tea event at the NCMA after this one… one other staff did approach our table to see how everything was, but I didn’t want to complain or share my thoughts at that time; I also heard the table next to me expressing dislike of some of the items offered…

   Hi Lee, We are very sorry for your disappointment in our tea and service, your server did express that you preferred less sweet and our teas have been 5 sweet and 5 savory with scones jam, and cream. We would have been happy to have given you more scones or would have warmed your scone. We try our best to make everyone happy and take feedback from each one of these teas for improvement.    Attended the Sake dinner. We enjoyed the exhibit and the sake. The food left a lot to be desired and was a bit uninspiring.

   Had a great Sake pairing dinner at NCMA. The menu and drink pairings were superb., as was the explanations, service and overall experience. Looking forward to doing something like this at NCMA again!

   The food was fantastic. The Julia Child Cheese Tarts were amazing. The scones and local preserves were a nice touch. I felt like for the cost plastic chairs, paper napkins, and zero Christmas trees was not a fancy Christmas tea. Heights House in Raleigh was more elegant and paid attention to all the details that make these teas special from the tea cups to the centerpieces to the decor. This was like having tea in someone’s basement. The food was good but the ambience was lacking elegance and Christmas cheer.

   The Gingerbread Tea was great. We had a vegan guest in our group and I was impressed with how quickly and easily they accommodated her. She was very happy with the menu modifications they offered.

   The restaurant made a mistake with my reservation. It took 30 minutes to set it right while we waited with 3 kids under 8 and my 92 year old mother who uses a walker. It took 45 minutes to get our food. Our waiter worked hard but service was very slow. Not sure we will do this again

   We waited one hour for Service after three attempts to ask our hostess and server why we were waiting so long to be served. I had asked four guests to join me. I was so embarrassed, frustrated and disappointed. I will not be going back

    We were very happy as usual with the food and service! We are very unhappy that we paid $75, and it is now selling for $45.
