Located in the heart of Carytown, East Coast Provisions offers an inventive approachable American Fusion menu specializing in shellfish, fresh fish, sushi and steak. East Coast Provisions has a big city feel with a sleek décor and multiple levels of exposed brick, 2 fireplaces, intimate rooms, multiple bars and one of Richmond’s best outdoor patios. We have convenient parking and accept reservations for parties of all sizes. We are currently serving in the dining room and on our patio. Due to weather the patio is first come, first served; we do our best to accommodate all requests but cannot guarantee specific table requests. We apply a 20% gratuity to all parties of 8 or more.

The food was wonderful and a great reason to keep going back. Our service this visit with not as good as in the past (our drinks came out with our dinner, not even with our appetizers or soup). We were on a time crunch though, before a show, and she did get us served and checked out right on time. We will be back, I am sure!

What a cozy and cool spot. The menu is varied and pieces in alignment with others. Where else can you get sushi, steak and seafood? We had the shrimp and grits. It was great. I would recommend they not serve it in a deep bowl or cut the tails off the shrimp. It always amazes me why hardly anyone cuts the tails off. It’s a hassle when the bowl is deep. Just a thought. We got to sit near the fireplace. Awesome for a cold winter night we will definitely be back.

Our food and dining experience was absolutely amazing! Our server was attentive and recommended the Roasted Rockfish which was delicious!

What a special lunch for our friend who turned 102! The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. Food was fabulous, and they even brought a chocolate lava cake with candle for dessert. Thank you for a very special occasion.

Fish sandwiches were very, unpleasantly, fishy with a weirdly small amount of sauce. The food took about 50 minutes to arrive at table, so didn’t complain because didn’t have another 50 minutes to wait for replacement. Fryer oil seemed old as well. (Donuts) The corn soup was spectacular however and the room was lovely. Service was on point.

Was really looking forward to checking out this spot for a birthday especially with the positive reviews. But overall I felt the food was not necessarily worth the prices. Portions were very small and overall taste was ok. Doughnut dessert was awful- overly fried with a burnt taste. Drinks werw good at least. Don't think we will be back unfortunately.

We went for my birthday and had a wonderful lunch. We said that we weren’t hurried and the staff handled the pacing of the meal perfectly.

First time at ECP was awesome! So glad we made the choice! Reservation was ready right on time (even a little early). Quiet table upstairs where it was nice and cozy warm on a cold night! Food was fresh and delicious! Portion sizes were great and prices not crazy! Our group had calamari (yummy sauce!), sushi, blackened mahi (nice size, thick pieces!) and steak, among other items! Shout out to Gabby, our waitress, who answered all our questions and was ready with some great recommendations! She was very kind and efficient!
