   We love El Chorro and it has been our place to celebrate occasions since we moved to the valley. We love sitting on the patio near a fireplace for the views while sipping a perfect martini. Ask for Jennifer, she is the best!

   We made reservations three months in advance and requested certain tables that we had sit in the past and would like to be there again. When we arrived, they said our reservation had been canceled, but we had not canceled it and we had received a confirmation from OpenTable that reservation was still active. The tables we had requested were not available and we were seated in a subpar area. The food and the service was very good and which did help minimize the miscommunication. I might also add this is not the first time this has happened. We generally make reservations well in advance And there seems to be a miscommunication with management in providing our request.

   When my husband and I want to have a special dining experience, El Chorro is always at the top of our list. We have enjoyed our visits there every single time over our 10 years in Arizona. Moving here from the San Francisco Bay Area, our expectations for restaurants is quite high. El Chorro is truly outstanding. Today's Easter three course menu had wonderful selections for each course. There were easily 100+ diners and yet, we were seated right on our reservation time, had excellent service throughout, and the food was fantastic. The atmosphere is just beautiful and sitting outside in the gorgeous weather was so pleasant. This restaurant is managed so well. They make their guests their top priority!

   The service was fantastic as is the ambience. The shrimp pepper pot was excellent and my dates salmon was also great. My short ribs were average. They were dry which meant not a lot of flavor. The polenta was very good. Overall a very good experience and I will go back agaim

   It’s a fabulous place with great food . We regularly attend when in town. Last night for some reason the kitchen was super slow. Our waiter was great and not his fault

    El Chorro never disappoints! They have the best patio for outdoor dining. It is a perfect place to take out of town visitors. We have tried several items from the menu and everything is always perfection, starting with their signature sticky buns! Can’t wait to go back.
