Lovely restaurant and setting Ild School a bit pricey, service was a bit to intrusive. Lots of other Nice Options.

Our favorite restaurant in the valley. Perfect for a special occasion (as was this visit) or just for a drink and nibble at the indoor/outdoor bar. And, a spectacular view of Camelback Mountain.

Been going to El Chorro for almost 50 years. I always love the place but I am missing the old brunch menu. Seems like too many new items on this menu. Bring back the chili Verde! And the traditional eggs Benedict.

Absolutely. Amazing atmosphere, and gracious staff. Our waiter had a bit of a hard time, and it may have been because of the noise level, but otherwise, the service was good. Three of the four folks had great things that say about their entrée, however, one was not thrilled. Overall, all of us will be back.

I wish I didn’t have to write this review. I’m not a fan of giving negative reviews to restaurants. However El Charro has been a long time favor of mine for a very long time and has always rise above most restaurants in town. A special place to go on a date or to bring out of town guest. My last two experiences with them over the last 90 days has been Below average. The service subpar. The food rather tasteless yet still expensive. The beef stroganoff used to have heavier wide egg noodles, which made it very unique. Now it lacked tastes and is bland. I find the servers to be very stingy with the sticky buns. It seems like every time we sat down and asked for sticky buns. We are treated to a standard line of the fact they like to bring sticky buns with dinner. Well, I like the sticky buns when I first arrive and have them with my cocktail. I don’t need a lecture and when I can have sticky bones during my meal. And please note I’d be happy to pay for my own sticky buns. I just want them when I want them. So all in all I’m disappointed to say I feel like the service and the food has gone downhill ambience is still fabulous. Their patio is one of the best in town. But for the price, there are many other restaurants in town that have better food better serviceand will bring you sticky buns when you ask for them. You need to step it up El Charro!
