Nestled high above LoHi on the fifth floor of 2930 Umatilla, El Five boasts spectacular, unobstructed views of the downtown Denver skyline. The menu is an homage to the Mediterranean and features small plates built on bold flavors found throughout the region: Spain, North Africa, the Middle East.

Inside, the space is understated and sensual, flanked by a large, open-air patio for sun-kissed Colorado nights. As the newest restaurant in the Edible Beats family, El Five celebrates the confluence of flavors, ideas and geographies made possible by a subtle shift in perspective.

Delicious!! Hip and happening scene. Beautiful skyline view. Noisy. They cleared the plates a little too quickly while we still would have been sopping up and scraping the little remains. It would be nice if they offered some bread for that purpose

10/10 recommend this experience to anyone that comes to Denver! I came here with my son, Harvey and we were helped by Tyler, Mark and Jose, getting exceptional service from them all! Tyler made sure that Harvey was comfortable with the food and was well taken care of. It was both my son’s and I first time trying these new foods from an amazingly colorful Mediterranean menu. Flavors were divine and kept you wanting to try more samples of everything! I wish we had more time here in Denver or I would definitely come back again! The skyline is beautiful to see from the restaurant as well. The vibe is just overall happy and joyous! Make sure to ask for Tyler! Thank you to the team! We will be coming back soon!

We arrived early for our reservation and they were able to accommodate us. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and drinks. Solid across the board. Nothing disappointed. Definitely would return.

El Five is always a favorite--it was fun to share with my family who had never been--we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere including our amazing view at the window side table.

Overall, the experience was okay. The tapas were just average, but our server stood out as excellent. We ordered a dish we didn’t enjoy, and when our server checked in, I mentioned it wasn’t our favorite, though we appreciated everything else. She went above and beyond by removing that dish from our bill, even though I was more than willing to pay for it. The cocktails were good and arrived quickly. The views were as stunning as everyone says, but the food fell short of expectations. It felt a bit lackluster, and I’d likely choose another spot for tapas next time.

You’re going to pay an arm and a leg but it’s worth it! Incredibly delicious, and I’m thankful they have great vegetarian options. My new favorite restaurant, can’t wait to go back!

We had a really great experience from start to finish. The host wished my wife a Happy Birthday when we arrived. They gave us an amazing table. The TDH was a high priced cocktail, but it was worth every penny. One of the best I've had in awhile. "Mr. Cody" was our server. It was our first time, so he explained the different ways to navigate their menu without being pushy or trying to just make a sale. He helped us plan a great meal with the right amount of food and his recommendations were spot on. We look forward to coming back again and exploring the other options.
