I had a small filet duo (photo attached), French fries, a side mixed green salad, a bottle of sparkling water, two glasses of the second cheapest house red wine (Argentinian) and my bill, including VAT of 8% on Food, plus VAT of 10%, came to a total of VND 3,195,600. The food was all prepared to a high standard and the house wine was pleasing. Four caveats I should mention to qualify my review comments. 1. I was shocked that smoking is allowed inside the restaurant. It was explained that the manager allows smoking by people seated at the bar. Given that the bar seating area dominates what is a small ground floor table seating area, this means that if you are with children, have chest issues, or simply expect to eat in a "smoke free" environment, you are in for a surprise. The friend of the manager - shown in the white shirt in my photo - was vaping all evening and the air stank with the smell. When I raised this issue, the staff refused to intervene so the smoke smell got worse throughout my meal. The manager sanctions, approves smoking in this restaurant. Shock, horror. Be warned. 2. The internal area is quite dense, with not much space between tables. This is common in bistro-type environments, but would not be suitable if you expect a quiet dinner with space around you. 3. Be careful when you read the menu pricing. The actual prices are shown in black - ignore the red prices unless you go on the one evening each month when these lower prices apply. This pricing is misleading on the Web site - it seems in places that the red prices apply at all times. You will pay the black prices, unless you plan your trip for the one time a month when the lower prices apply. 4. The overall bill I received was correct, but I though the pricing was too high. There are other, better value options if you want a good steak dinner in Ho Chi Minh City. I hope this review is helpful.

The quality of the food was outstanding! The place was full and the noise level was close to pain. The tables are a little to small.

Incredibly delicious. Doris (Trang) was amazing and I loved ALL of her recommendations. I was immediately welcomed in upon arrival. I love the onions sautéing in the corner as you walk up the stairs. It's an amazing aroma. Great sensory overload technique. The 7oz wagyu Australian was like BUTTAH! That Cesar salad was incredibly fresh. I loved the bacon in it and I got to add my own amount of dressing. The bread was so soft and FRESH! I love that they offered Panna Cotta water. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting. I saw how staff worked together or in tandem. Blue cheese sauce, sautéed mushrooms , and garlic mash potatoes were divine ! Guess what I'm having for breakfast !

I have dined at high end restaurants while on international trips, but never have I dined at a rated high end restaurant but was treated like a fast-food place. I had reservations for 2 (i was 15 minutes early), but was seated at a high table with uncomfortable chairs. I was told because I did not specify on the reservation that I needed to be seated at a low table, therefore they do not have that reversed for us. The waiter told us we will be moved to a lower table as soon as it comes available, however the next available table was given to a party of 3 instead of us (there were empty tables between us). The noise in this high-end place is unbearable, we were screaming at each other the whole entire dinner. By the time food came out, our lungs were exhausted from screaming. If you are looking for a quiet restaurant with an honest host/waiter, then this is not the place.
