Tucked away in the corner of Mayfair, El Pirata ensures that every guest instantly feels at home through their relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, some of whom have been at El Pirata since the very beginning meaning they work as a seamless team. El Pirata couples the comforting appeal of a central London establishment with the energetic dynamism of a new opening. The family celebrated my wife’s birthday at El Pirata. The food and cocktails were great, and really good value. We all agreed, this was the best tapas we’ve had in London and we’re a Spanish family that spends a lot of time eating tapas in London and Spain. All the staff were so friendly and provided great service, which from a customers point of view are the main reasons we eat out. When booking, I asked for a special table and the restaurant delivered by providing us with a booth which really showed they cared about making it a special night for the family. Also loved the ambience of the upstairs bar, I’m sure we’ll be back soon to grab afew tools and have many more plates of tapas.

Thank you once again to the team at this restaurant for giving me a ground floor table once again, my third Christmas meal at this restaurant. Food was superb as was the atmosphere. See you next year!

Was very loud by the bar, but once we were seated it was fantastic. Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was spectacular.
