El Vino Crudo is a wine bar and restaurant located in the heart of Old San Juan - la Calle Fortaleza. We are nestled in a building from the 1700s, displaying the timeless aura old world charm. El Vino Crudo imports quality wines from around the world. The wine we represent is real, from eccentric to laser focused and refined, always sourced from growers who follow organic, biodynamic farming and wine making practices.
Our food menu by El Vino Crudo Chef, Beto Resende, offers a rotating selection of dishes with respect to seasonality, availability and when we feel inspired to try new creations. Beto's cooking style is straight to the point, simple with Mediterranean influence.

Service was great and a cool space! Glad we paid attention to the comments of others about looking for the yellow wine glass. As primarily Chardonnay drinkers the wine list was limited. Most of the Chardonnay was steele aged and citrus based. But the pork chop is the main reason for the low review. Mainly fat (about 70%) and the side dish was not a serving for two.

The food was amazing! My favorite was the langostino. Our daughter had a pasta that she said was the best pasta she has ever had in her life. Its a really cool spot, and the service was great- everyone was so nice. Oh, and the wines- fantastic. I think thats why they opened was for the wine. Thank you for the best meal!

El lugar es uno de mis favoritos estéticamente, sin embargo siento que el servicio puede ser mil veces mejor para mejorar la experiencia y el menú también lo encuentro complicado a entender (tampoco mesera nos dio much details salvo a lo que preguntamos plato x plato) y poco variado. Also, la botella de vino nos la trajeron ya abierta which is odd.

Everything was fabulous! The sauces under/accompanying each dish were so amazing, we kept scraping the plate for every last bite. The eggplant tempura was a standout favorite, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

This was both me and my girlfriend’s favorite spot in all of Puerto Rico. The sparkling white wine we drank was so delicious and the food as well. We couldn’t get over the old-school ambience and how great the vibes were, ESPECIALLY the ones who work there. Such a great experience I would LOVE to come here again

What a fantastic place. It’s hidden so unless you are looking for it, you won’t find it. Look for the yellow wine glass sign deep in the doorway. That’s it.
Unique tapas menu but all the food is so tasteful and well put together. Every dish will surprise you if you have an open mind.
We tried most of the tapas and they were all unique and just great. Think the schnitzel was our favorite. Not a classic schnitzel but just delicious and much better than a schnitzel :)
The dessert was so well made to. Chocolate cake but so light and flavorful.
Staff and ambience was personal and so friendly.
