Elizabeth Street Café is a neighborhood Vietnamese cafe and French bakery in South Austin opened in December 2011. The little restaurant boasts sunny dining rooms and a shady garden patio and serves fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as takeout.

Elizabeth Street Café is known for: great croissants and Stumptown coffee, bánh mì served on house baked baguettes, fresh spring rolls, Kronenberg on tap, steaming bowls of pho, spicy curries, house cocktails, a fun kids menu, and flavorful macarons.

I would like to start by saying that the food was AMAZING. drinks were awesome and we got a variety. Everything was great but felt like the server was rushing us to leave. We went early on a Friday and no one was in the restaurant but felt like we were being pushed out. Checks were picked up while we were still there and not busy at all which seems odd to me.

Food was good. We both got pho and the pork belly buns. The buns were delicious but there are other other places that are my fave for pho. Will be back to try other menu items though!

loved the drunken noodles. Rice bowl with chicken was very bland. Not good.

Everyone was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Service was excellent and food was Amazing!! The Pho is the BEST ever!

The weather is finally getting cooler, so we enjoyed the tables outside. We ordered several appetizers for lunch. We always get the Spring Rolls and the Ginger Chili-Oil Dumplings. The Shrimp & Yam Fritters were new for us and delicious. Everyone in our group was able to order something different. The table favorites include the 32A Pho, 50 Fried Rice and 53 Red Curry Dan Dan Noodles. This restaurant is in the regular rotation for our weekly business lunches.

Adorable spot in excellent neighborhood with nice food and great service. Our plates were heavy on lettuce, garnish, and other filler such as vermicelli noodles. I saw just two pieces of shrimp in the crepe. Thought we ordered a lot but I’m hungry now.

Spring rolls were amazing! Service was impeccable and the ambience is great for a temperate nice day! Highly recommend.
