Ella's cocktail and mocktail are made to perfection, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very cosy with dim light, the staff really take care of us and keep on checkin if we need anything, we ordered the eggplant moju, 1000 layer potato, the tamarind chicken and my partner ordered lamb ribs, beef cheek and roti, the reason I gave only 4 stars to the food is because it is really oily and the roti should have been kept traditional instead of the crispy roti it feel like we eating crumbs and they should have option for traditional sri lankan dessert but overall it was a good experience.

We ordered the Feed Me menu - the highlights were the lamb ribs, Spanish mackerel and roti. All the dishes were perfectly cooked, with complex flavours. The pannacotta had the perfect texture. We also tried a number of the cocktails - my favourite was the margarita Highly recommend!

Took my Wife out for a quiet lovely meal and was not disappointed, the service was brilliant and the food was amazing. The Lamb and Roti, I would recommend to anyone, best meal I have had in years. Thank you, we will be back.

Wonderful food and great service. The food dishes here are fresh creative and vibrant - a delight to all of the senses. Dinner here is not cheap by any means but it is a joy to dine here. One of Darwin’s best in my opinion.

I’d been eagerly awaiting our booking at Ella, and let me just say, the experience far exceeded my expectations… we started the night with lamb ribs and pan rolls, followed by 1000 layer potatoes, tamarind chicken, barramundi and the green beans. After we finished these we figured we’d better get the jaggery lamb, the beef cheeks and the banana prawns as well… for research purposes of course! The night did end up a little pricey, but as far as I’m concerned it was worth every penny! Will definitely be returning in the near future, hungry for more

Service was fantastic! Food was so yummy was still talking about it the next day to everyone! Would recommend to go and try the beautiful experience of the food

Service was excellent but the noise level (of other diners) was unpleasant. Food was delicious as always, but we thought the pumpkin dish and rotis were rather oily on this occasion.
