Reception staff were very accomodating, originally seated on a booth, but I have 3 teenagers. We were seated on a more comfortable and spacious table instead. My family of 5 went in for an early thanksgiving dinner. Impressed with how our server John really paid attention to my notes beforehand. They really do read your requests. Perfect ambience, not bothered by the noise either. Table setup was elegant. Bread service with special butters tasty. Drinks: Husband is an old-fashioned fanatic, and orders every restaurant and fine dining’s version. Tableside presentation is a yes! Husband said drink was strong, which means its “worth the price”. I tried the “intermission” and it was really good too. Food: 2 of my boys tried the porcini crusted ribeye and it was really good. Considering my “hungry” teenagers the serving was large for them, surprised that both couldnt finish. My youngest tried out the caviar and crab topper filet, 6oz that was enough for him but couldnt finish due to too much charring on the bottom of the steak. He said it was too “bitter”. Otherwise crab topping was tasty. Husband ordered the sonoran style NY strip, was not a fan of the rub and had to crust it off. I ordered from the ala carte Ribeye steak with the buerre blanc sauce, it was just a regular ribeye nothing special even with the sauce. But it was cooked medium rare the way i like it. Sides: Truffle mac and cheese, french fries with special dipping sauce, and grilled asparagus was all very good! My boys said we could skip the dessert because they were all very full, but had to try the movie ticket and it was gone in seconds, dulce de leche ice cream complimented the cake, my boys ate it all away. We love trying out new food and have dined at many steakhouses in Scottsdale like Maple and Ash, Steak 44, Mortons, Mastros, Bourbon and Bones, STK, Capital Grille, and more, we feel like the steaks a bit pricey but the overall experience, ambience & superb service made up for it. We will be back.
