Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Signature dishes include Moroccan Onion Dip, Spinach & Feta Spread, Tahini Caesar Salad, Octopus Carpaccio and Spicy Brisket Kefta Kebab.

The beverage program showcases cocktails with flavors crafted from Mediterranean ingredients like chinola, fig, fresno chile and coriander. The wine program, curated by Sommelier John C. Slatter, features a globally sourced list of over 70 selections with a strong focus on wineries practicing organic and natural production across the Mediterranean, including ancient grape varieties from Greece, Lebanon and Italy.

Very airy nice atmosphere Fairly noisey Good Mediterranean food a little too spicy Fairly expensive for what it is $15 broccoli kinda crazy Almost impossible to get a weekend reservation, very popular Will we go back ? Maybe Is it worth the time and effort? Not really

Disappointed that all (7) sharing dishes—hummus, dips, hot brussel sprouts, hot vegetarian side—all came out at the same time, instead of being brought in the sequential, overlapping fashion we had experienced in the past in Glenview and at the city location. By the time we got to the warm dishes, they were cool and not as flavorful as they would have been soon after preparation. We scheduled this late get together (reservation at 2:00PM) so that we could share a couple of relaxed hours together… The ability to stretch out the time came from feeling compelled to order more beverages and dessert so that we were not overstaying our welcome. Overall, the whole experience felt as if the staff were was trying to rush us through the dining process.

The restaurant has high ratings but the meal we have will not bring us back. Food was mediocre. Pita bread smothered with some spices and tasted old. Hummus was smothered in oil and way way too salty. The brisket’s kabob was dried. Chicken sandwich ok. ABA is another LUEU restaurant which serves excellent Mediterranean food, fresh pita, excellent hummus, exceptional frittata, salmon and other dishes.

Although we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated for our reservation, the service and food was excellent. Great ambiance, will be back!

I can't say enough about the ambiance and the food, had a great dinner again. I could live on the Moroccan onion dip!

Beautiful restaurant and excellent food. However, it is very loud in there, and the wait staff is a bit too aloof for my taste.
