Calgary's premiere oyster bar since 1995 - featuring at least six varieties of northern Atlantic and Pacific fresh oysters on the half shell, including a $1.25 daily featured oyster. Casual small plates, pastas, beef, duck and lamb complement the fresh seafood specialty and imaginative gourmet daily features. For the wine lover, an extensive wine list and a continually changing selection of wines by the glass and taste are available, preserved with an argon system for just-opened freshness. *PLEASE NOTE* if dining prior to a Saddledome event (NHL hockey game or major concert): Please allow at least two hours prior to the start time of the event, more for larger groups in order to get to the event on time, as it can take over an hour to serve food to the last few tables that order.

                  Found parking on the street in front($2.50); huge selection of food; very friendly staff who went above and beyond for my friend who can’t eat shellfish; tons of seafood in the lunchtime risotto

                  Had a nice dinner at the Embarcadero after Cirque du Soleil. Small, intimate restaurant. Nice service. Good menu, reasonably priced. Food very good, not great. They have a very nice wine list, don't go there for cocktails.

                  The food was good, both the lobster and steak were done correctly. We had a show after dinner and it was really appreciated the waiter indicated we might want to order right away as everyone else there was going to the same show. I appreciate the honesty and being up front so we could manage our evening. White wine could have been a bit cooler, we did request a bucket which they brought but that does take some time.

                  Other than parking being an issue if you have after 6 pm reservations and no handicap parking spots, we found the restaurant clean, warm and cozy. The food was delicious and the service outstanding... you actually got service with recommendations and information on the food and wine. Definitely will be going back again for another delicious food experience!

                  Embarcadero is a little gem. I have never been there before, until recently, and I have enjoyed my time. They have delicious and affordable food. I mainly went there for oysters; they have a great selection or different types of oysters. You can even get a platter of different kinds to try out, for $28 + GST.
