Welcome to Ember!

Ember is a locally owned high energy eatery located at 70 retreat village on saint simons island. the menu is written daily. ingredients are sourced from local farmers and fishermen, inspired by wood-fired cooking, and influenced globally via france, italy, to asia and more along with the southeastern united states. the craft beverage program features unique wines, innovative southern brews, and cocktails made with premium spirits, house infused spirits, and the freshest of ingredients. all of this is served in a fun and contemporary atmosphere at achievable prices. dress is smart casual. georgia trend magazine silver spoon award ..."fun, yet ambitious contemporary." enjoy live music every weekend at our Mas lounge where our full dinner menu is available.

    Food was just okay. I didn’t get the vibe either through the food selection and prep or the ambience that it was a farm to table restaurant. Service was fine not stellar. Wait team rarely came by to check on us

    Excellent, love the bread (menu item), brussel sprouts, blackened scallops and grits, green beans accompaniments. Excellent service too

    Excellent choices. My favorite is the crab soup. Spices on everything are subtle with a tiny kick. Grouper was very good as well as the veggie choices it was paired with. And of course, loved the piano man

    We enjoy the Happy Hour at Ember however a couple of constructive comments. The house wines offered during Happy Hour seem to have diminished in quality. Secondly, the Happy Hour menu is tired and needs to be changed and rotated on a more consistent basis. Service is outstanding!

    We always love dining at Ember. I do with you had a little more variety. However, I do like the mediterranean style of much of your dishes. I had the Greek, which was a nice salad loaded with couscous. I suggest less couscous and more greens. Love the lamb lollipops, also the shrimp dishes. Suggest more shrimp options than the appetizer and main course. Service is always excellent.
