Opened in the spring of 2004, Embers is a contemporary American Steakhouse with a twist. Classic Steakhouse offerings along with complete selections of seafood & sushi are available in a warm inviting atmosphere.

Embers, as the name implies, evokes the warmth and comfort of a glowing fire; from the stacked-stone torch and gas lanterns outside to the glowing candles within. Black & White photographs of Cincinnati landmarks and celebrities create a sense of history and place, while large oil canvasses and vibrant floral arrangements punctuate the rooms with color.

                                Ordered New York strip Oscar. The meat was low grade and gritty with no flavor. I added the $14 Oscar and it was pathetic. Should have been more like $5. Service was slow to say the least. We’ve eaten here before two years ago and looked forward to it but there’s no way I’d be back. Food has gone way down hill as well as the service. The lobster bisque was terrible! My daughter couldn’t even eat it. She told the waiter after she had two bites of it and we still had to pay for it. Do NOT eat here!!!

                                Everything was wonderful! Sea bass , scallops & filet were all delicious! The bartender makes a perfect old fashioned.

                                It's always a treat to be able to enjoy a delicious meal at Embers. The steaks, the seafood, the sushi......oh my goodness! I almost always get the sushi feature but tonight I ordered the Snow Cod. I believe that's what it was called. Anyways, the cod was absolutely to die for! Our waitress was top tier, very professional and very personable. We will definitely request Tayloranne again and again!

                                Food always good to great After eating there for years I think a remodel to bar area would be nice. Last night we had unusual disappointing service. Server was MIA 1/3 of the time. Also we added our Daughter’s 14th Birthday information in the reservation-not one person even wished her a happy birthday let alone did anything special for her.

                                Embers is a quiet restaurant with impeccable service. The food was delicious but somewhat overpriced. A $50 or $60 entree is ok for a special occasion but not really for an ordinary Saturday night.
