A lounge with a focus on quality ingredients, well-made cocktails, as well as natural & small production wines. Located off of Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh. Our front door is to the left of the entrance to Market St. Grocery.

    One of the tastiest Beet Salads I've ever had, an excellent drink special, totally welcoming wait staff. This was a real find, since we wouldn't have known it was there by just walking past.

    We chose Emerson’s to celebrate our 10th anniversary and a 60th birthday which were acknowledged upon arrival but not again for the rest of the night. We didn’t expect to receive anything but I felt that it was a missed opportunity for the restaurant. The environment is really great with above average noise. The interior acoustics made it very difficult to have a conversation at a table of four in the corner. We ordered the charcuterie and cornbread to start. The charcuterie was underwhelming and felt out of place with the rest of the food we received. The cornbread was great. The salads were good - we had a grilled Cesar and beet salad. We had the salmon and risotto which was excellent. We also had the Emerson’s burger which was great. The wine selection was limited and they were out of the bottle that was our first selection. Overall experience was good and worth a try.

    The creative, streamlined menu offered a nice range of choices. The cornbread biscuit was novel and tasty. Our seafood entrees were beautifully prepared. Also nice was the wine list—intriguing selections at reasonable prices.

    I loved our visit to Emerson! Very cozy and intimate vibe. Rustic and Modern decor, upscale without being pretentious. Interesting cocktail and mocktail menu. Our Meal was excellent from start to finish and great service. We will return! Thanks to @berryintheburgh for the recommendation 🤗
