Just opened 14 Feb 2022!
Walking into Emilia’s Wood Wharf will be like entering a bustling trattoria in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region with an ambience created by natural terracotta-plastered walls bathed in natural light, rustic Iroko furniture, creamy crema marfil marble counters and hand-painted Italian tiles. Chefs making fresh pasta greet diners at the window in a special dedicated custom-made area visible from all sides. The thoughtfully designed interior cleverly combines a vibrant bar area with a custom table bocce for some competitive socialising in half the restaurant, with a cosy rustic restaurant section for more intimate moments and lingering conversations. The custom-designed kitchen and bar areas will be fully open for diners to watch the theatrics of drinks and dishes being freshly prepared. Outside, alfresco diners will enjoy views of the water and the green open spaces of Harbour Quay Gardens as well as the stunning architecture of surrounding Canary Wharf

The food was very nice and we all enjoyed it along with the great service. The only thing was that the portion size between different main items was inconsistent, ranging from small to medium and that the tuna pasta was very spicy and anything to do with spice was not mentioned on the menu.

Heerlijk gegeten. Lekker verse pasta en een heerlijke Pannetone als toetje. Het andere toetje was al bereid (uit de koeling) dat was het enige minpuntje. Dat is vers toch echt lekkerder. Maar overall heerlijk gegeten!

Great food but the service was not great. Took ages for us to be served. Then the food came before our drinks. No one came over to ask if the food was ok. Neglected. Not sure I'll be back.

We had dinner at around 7.45. regrettably service was not great. It took a long while to get served and we had to remind the waiter about the tap water we ordered. We were basically encouraged to keep our cutlery between starters and main. When asking for coffee they said they needed to check if the machine had not been cleaned yet and it was before 9pm with people still coming in. Food was ok. The pasta, as an Italian, was ok but the sauce with it not the cacio e pepe One would expect. The starter of bresaola with bread was very minimalist, no garnish, two separate plates one with bread, the other with bresaola - 5 slices, and overpriced. Interesting idea, but all felt like lacking care for customers and attention to details.

Lovely staff, prompt service, excellent food, not an overwhelming amount of menu options which is great. Felt authentic. Ravioli was superb.
