The Empire Rooftop is located on the top floor of the iconic Empire Hotel and overlooks the Lincoln Center complex. With over 8000 square feet of interior and exterior space, The Empire Rooftop has a seasonal open-air East Terrace, a West Terrace with a retractable roof cover, an Interior Main Lounge, and a seasonal Sun Deck. Enjoy our Signature Empire Sunset Cocktail, a light bite from our appetizer menu, and take a photo in front of the iconic neon sign to complete your experience.

Guests of all ages (accompanied by a Parent) are welcome on the roof until 8PM, when those under 21 must vacate.

    It was a great experience all around. They were super attentive to my dietary restrictions and made the lobster fresh for me for the lobster taco in order to accommodate. And it was delicious! I'm impressed. Beautiful view and chill vibe on a cold Sunday afternoon in the City.

    We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival at a comfortable low table with a view of Lincoln Center right across the street. Service was attentive and cocktail orders arrived quickly. All 4 in the party said the cocktails were well made to asked for specifications, such as 'slightly dirty Hendrick's Martini.' Oysters Rockefeller were truly excellent and other snacks were good. Background music and noise level were moderate. Prices are $21 for standard cocktails with $3 extra for requested brands such as Ketel One. This is a good place to meet for cocktails and snacks before a performance.

    Très déçu par notre passage au Roof Top Empire. Voici les faits : Nous avions prévu de venir simplement boire un verre. À notre arrivée, on nous informe qu’il est obligatoire de réserver. Nous faisons donc une réservation via votre application pour déjeuner, pensant que cela simplifierait les choses. Mais surprise en arrivant : on nous installe sur une petite table basse, sans vue, dans un coin, alors que de nombreuses tables vides étaient disponibles. Pire encore, le personnel nous affirme finalement qu’il n’est pas nécessaire de réserver pour boire un verre… Double discours incompréhensible et désorganisation totale. Résultat : nous avons bu un verre, grignoté sur le pouce et sommes vite repartis. On est très loin du standing promis par ce lieu pourtant si bien présenté.

    Overall this hotel is disappointing. I brought my daughter here for a gossip girl experience and nothing was recognizable from the show and it is a low end experience.
