Empire Steak House, conveniently located at 237 west 54 street near Broadway in New York City, showcases modern décor in a classy, but trendy atmosphere. The all-white marble bar and sprawling dining room provide an additional air of sophistication. While Empire's steaks are acclaimed for its famous dry-aged porterhouse for two, the rest of the vast menu is equally stellar, featuring a wide range of fresh seafood such as 4-to 5-lb lobsters, Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon, Yellow Fin Tuna, towering seafood platters, and much more. The eatery offers a highly selective wine list and features many of California's most sought-after vintages. The Zagat rated restaurant is owned and operated by the Sinanaj family. The Sinanaj's success dates back to their first restaurant opening of Empire Steak House in 2010. The space is 4,500 square feet and can accommodate 230 guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, private rooms available!

We had a 6:30pm reservation which we made 2+ months prior. Arrived at 6:15 to have a beverage at the bar. Bar staff was awesome! It was Thanksgiving night and super busy with what appeared to be a lot of walk ins. We were finally seated at 7PM in the back of the restaurant. Had our pre-dinner drinks and bread basket. Order was promptly taken. We ordered a T-bone steak for 2 which never arrived after 2 hours of our reservation. We received our salad and soup timely. Then…that was it. We had to ask for more water and bread. It was SO loud in the restaurant! The staff was working their butts off! Then we had to ask for another glass of wine. When 2 tables who arrived after us received their meals before we did, we got up and left. It seemed that the kitchen was backed up, which can happen, but no one came to tell us. So disappointed as we were staying at the hotel where the restaurant was located.

We did thanksgiving dinner and it was pretty good but not great. It was the full new york steakhouse experience which was unique for us for thanksgiving. They went heavy on the turkey and lighter on the sides. I would have preferred a more balanced approach. Overall it was good but I was admittedly hoping for better based on the reviews for Empire and the price. Next time I would probably order a steak off the menu.

We did a google search for a steakhouse in the Theater District in NYC. We found a gem. First time here and we loved the place. Nicely decorated and was clean. Everything that arrived at our table was outstanding. The food was awesome. We had the sampler appetizer, Porterhouse for two, and sauted spinach. The was was excellent. It was cooked to perfection, the right temperature and delicious. The spinach was maybe the best I've had. The service was at a very high level. We were thrilled and impressed with our dining experience.

By far the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant. Food was phenomenal, service top tier. Our waitress was also amazing. The food presentation was over the top. 10/10 Will be visiting again.

This is our favorite restaurant. The service is always great and the food is always prepared to our liking. This visit we received complimary glass of limoncello. Excellent!

Steaks were very good. Wedge salad with blue cheese had very little blue cheese and when we asked for more what we received was a weird green color and didn’t have a good taste. Dessert was mediocre. Tables were very small. Service was less than stellar
