Good food. Starters a long time coming considering it was only soup. Background music nice but loud. Staff pleasant and polite.

Really disappointed all round. What Eros promised me I didn’t get. My best friend of 47 years travelled from Italy especially to spend her 50th birthday with me. We chose Eros due to its setting in Knowle and its menu. I specifically requested a quiet table as out of the way as possible so we could chat, celebrate and catch up many years of not seeing each other. I took the trouble to go into Eros to double check the booking to ensure they could cater for my specific requests. The member of staff read out my requests and assured me they had no issues whatsoever and that our table would be located upstairs where it was more private. Upon our arrival I was extremely upset and disappointed to find we were given a table shoved right in the corner right by the serving hatch and on top of an incredibly hot radiator. Both myself and my friend were left feeling hot and uncomfortable especially when our hot meals arrived. The table was not private, we could hear everyone’s conversations and the couple next to us were practically joining in our conversations which made us most annoyed. The food was mediocre and expensive for what it was. The service wasn’t great and never gave it a thought until we left Eros slapped a 10% discretionary charge on our overall bill. Eros spoiled our special celebration evening by not adhering to my dining requests even after they personally approved them. Really unhappy. Wish we had gone elsewhere. If your looking for top notch dining experience who listens and caters for your needs Eros is not the place to book. Not happy 😡

Eros is a friendly and welcoming restaurant. The choice of the drinks menu is very good and the quality, presentation and cooking of the food probably ranks it as the best restaurant in Knowle.
