With seven locations across Houston, Escalante's serves the finest Tex-Mex cuisine close to your home or office in Houston. Tortillas made by hand, guacamole prepared fresh for every order, white queso that simmers for hours. Center-cut outer-skirt steak hand-trimmed, marinated, and cooked to order for every beef fajita. Consistent quality is our specialty. Join us for Houston's best Happy Hour Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

    Wonderful brunch with attentive service. Had the Beef Empanadas, Avacado Toast, and Steak Quesadillas. All were delicious.

    The food is good but not great. Food here used to be great, it is not as flavorful and I miss some things (blue crab nachos used to be amazing!) they removed from the menu a few years ago. We got fajitas this time- the meat was flavorful but the onions and vegetables were bland and not cooked down enough. Overall it was decently good but we probably won’t be back.

    Food was great along with service. Waiter was very personable. Only issue for me is this was a special business dinner and i requested in advance special attention to table location. Hostess did not see the note and took us to a table right by patio door where a wheel chair was also being stored.

    Miguel was our server. He was fast and attentive. The table side guacamole was fantastic. We had a fun night out with friends

    La carne al chimichurri estuvo muy buena , el ceviche también estuvo bien , pero los frijoles charros y el arroz les faltaba cocción, se veía muy bueno y cuando lo probé estaba duro , el platillo decía verduras cocidas y sólo traía lechuga y tomate , las tortillas de harina también estaban crudas
