OpenTable美食編輯： When James Beard-nominated chef James Trees opened Esther’s Kitchen in 2018, he helped put the Arts District on the city’s culinary map. Now in a stylish new space with an open kitchen and whimsical animal wallpaper, the refined Italian spot still turns out the same wood-fired sourdough pizzas and knockout pastas (get the rigatoni carbonara with snap peas) that made it an instant Vegas classic.

The food and drinks were really good. The restaurant was nice. I selected this as a place to take someone out to dinner for their birthday. The server wasn’t rude but was very dismissive and we felt super rush ed when looking at the menu. Server at the table next to us was very informative about the menu while our server just rushed us. Not a great experience.

Esther’s kitchen did not disappoint in the least. Service was friendly, relaxed, and professional. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food which was well executed. From the bread and the spreads to the amazing charcuterie boards, pastas, entrees, and desserts. The ambience, lively and fun. Alex was amazing and kept our large group moving along without being pushy. Gatsby did a great job arranging it all and ever patient in all of our changes. We thank the entire staff of Esther’s kitchen for a wonderful evening.

Their bread and spreads were very good, as usual. However it went downhill from there, some of the dishes were so salty, almost inedible. The rest of the dishes were fine nothing exceptional. The service left a lot to be desired, the food came way too fast even when we pointed that out to the wait staff. All the dishes came out crowding our small table. It was our second time back after a great first visit, I don’t see reason to return again sadly.

Have been to Esther’s many times for dinner but this was the first time for lunch. Bring an appetite as the portions for salads, pastas, sandwiches are AMPLE! Easily shareable between 2-3 people and if you get more than 1 thing, you’ll have leftovers. So it really is a good value as well as a delicious meal of well executed items. Garlic oil poached tuna (aka Niçoise-ish) salad and Margharita pizza feed 2 of us with leftovers. Had my first mocktail , Grow a Pear!, and it was fantastic — complex and refreshing. The Witch cocktail was great as well and made a good dessert. You will not be disappointed.

From walking into the restaurant, the ambience and energy was amazing. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and what we were looking for for our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Las Vegas. I will definitely be back.

This was an amazing experience and the food was fantastic! We are telling everyone we know to make this a stop on their Vegas trip. The mezzaluna was spectacular, everything we ordered we would gladly eat again and Celine was a fantastic server we would love to have again. You won’t be sorry if you leave the strip and have the best craft cocktails and fresh made pasta in Vegas!
