    Et Voilà! was amazing. There was an exceptional selection of appetizers and entrees, and everything we had was artfully prepared and delicious. We chose this restaurant based on previous reviews, and it didn't disappoint. We look forward to returning on our next visit to San Diego.

    Always a great time, been there several times. Robert/Bob is our favorite. We did have another waiter, but it always great. The decorations are so cute for Christmas. And the food is over the top. Customer service is excellent as always. We will definitely be back many many times.

    the only issue for us at this gem is the noise level...loud for those of us with aging ears. Otherwise, this is a spot to return to again and again.

    Great dinner at Et Voila last night! Recommended by a total stranger, but he was right! Great atmosphere, attentive service, and great food. We had onion soup and escargot, of course, Then duck confit and roast duck. All were superb! An enjoyable time was had by all! (PS: The $40 corkage was a little tough to swallow... And after opening our bottle they never served it to us...)

    First time here. It was highly recommended by a local who goes frequently to this spot. Did not disappoint. Had the ocean trout and it was deliciously prepared. Crispy bit of skin on the top and rest cooked perfectly. My partner the coq au vin. He raved about it. Service was great and the place had an elegant charm. Was also informed they had a great happy hour there at the bar. Will check that out next time. Only draw back is parking, which is everyone’s problem on a Friday or Saturday night in this area. Will be coming back again sooner rather than later, I hope.

    My husband and 2 kids in their twenties had a wonderful meal at Et Voila. We usually eat at more casual restaurants, so this was a treat. We loved the mushroom soup and accompanying toast (the mushroom ravioli was also good, but the soup was special). The coq au vin, farro salad and mussels were also lovely. The pork chop was very good, but not particularly memorable. One thing that didn't live up to my expectation was the ambience and service, which were fine, but I was expecting something a little more elegant given the prices. At the end of the day, it does bill itself as a French Bistro, so the t-shirts on the waiters and their casual attitude isn't out of line with that. I didn't want white table cloths and stuffiness, but just a little more of a special ambience and service. All in all, a very nice night out.

    We came for the 3-course fixed Thanksgiving menu. The food, drinks, and service were outstanding. There was virtually no wait between courses and though it was a holiday, their menu was reasonably priced! Will definitely be coming back!
