Eve Bar by Adam Handling, Covent Garden

Stop for just a second. Spare a moment to take it all in.
This is a cocktail experience that starts as soon as you walk down those stairs and see our red neon light,
Resist EVErything, except temptation.

We are 5 bartenders. We all have different stories, varieties of passion and extents of knowledge.
With no rules, regulations or restrictions and the luxury of a kitchen as our playground, we have created
a cocktail list that pushes boundaries and defies expectations.

At Eve bar, we collaborate with the legends in the Frog by Adam Handling kitchen to utilise parts of ingredients that would otherwise be wasted. We work with unusual ingredients and unexpected pairings to create drinks that are all about flavour.

Fabulous cocktails…just fabulous! Unexpected ingredients skillfully married with ones more familiar in cocktails revealed some exceptional flavors we had not experienced before. While the ones we chose were not spirit forward, we were still thrilled and added another each beyond the “just one drink” intention we went in with. Getting first hand details on how our cocktails (we had Coffee, Pear, Peach, and Apple) were made gave some insight into the differentiated way that Adam and team curate their cocktail menu compared to other bars. Sure, you can have a spirit-forward drink and leave a little loopy anywhere, but the unexpected is what makes life and trying something less ordinary so exciting. Great job Eve Bar team!

Did not eat as snacks only and very expensive. Cocktail were amazing. 🤩 great atmosphere and music. It is small and cosy

Nice and chilled bar - able to chat and relax away from the busyness of Covent Garden. Cocktails were cheaper than expected and pleasant enough but not that strong or special - which might explain why. Really intense perfume/incense smell that was a bit off putting but decor is lovely and service was good.

Absolutely fantastic. We tried almost all of the signature cocktails between us and loved each of them. The fig adaptation of a negroni and the apple were our favourites. The food was unreal. We could have kept re-ordering the OG cheese and the crab and kimchi doughnuts all night, and the apple, woodruff and custard dessert could have been served in the michelin restaurant. Staff were lovely to talk to and verry attentive. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Had been here earlier in the year for dinner and drink and had a great evening. Even though the service is still 5*, unfortunately the bar food has been revamped and now consists of a series of single-mouthful, ‘bar snacks’ and at £95 for just 2 x cocktails and 3 bar snacks, even the staff seemed embarrassed. We then went elsewhere for a meal. A few people were in when we arrived but the place was deserted when we left an hour later. That this is is Covent Garden in December says it all…avoid.

We didn’t eat but went for cocktails after the ballet. They were delicious and reasonable for such a great location. The staff were so so lovely. Made us welcome and comfortable. An amazing venue for two old friends to catch up in a slowly, increasingly, inebriated manner.
