    Service with no one in there was poor. Served my business guest cold coffee then explained would take 10 minutes to brew more. Food mediocre and hotel like expensive. Would not go back.

    The food was good, but if you usually pay cash, they do not accept cash except for tips. They also need to tell you to get your ticket validated if you are dining under two hours. I have no complaints; it's just an observation.

    There was some kind of event going on that I was not aware of before making my reservations. I was looking forward to a quiet meal and it was anything but. The food was good however the drink was really good and the service was exceptional. I would go back, but I might call ahead and make sure there’s Not an event going on in the bar.

    The service at Evelyn’s was excellent. The menu appeared creative. The small dishes (appetizers) were beautifully created. The tuna tartare parfait was gorgeous, but I found it a tad underseasoned. The burrata dish was more than generous in serving size, and was quite tasty. The ribeye was cooked perfectly to medium rare, and was enjoyed by both my dinner companion and by me. She ordered the scallops gratinee, which again was attractively served in a generous portion - but we both found it a bit underseasoned as well. Because of its downtown location, we would likely consider it again for dinner if attending a downtown event. We arrived relatively early (5:30) in order to eat before an event at Analog, in the same hotel (the Hutton), and found the bar, which is not separated from the restaurant, to be relatively crowded and noisy, but our table was far enough removed that it was not a distraction, and by the time we left, the crouch had diminished and the noise abated. All in all, we enjoyed our dining experience.

    Had breakfast and it enjoyed it very much. Our group tried a few dishes and the biscuits were tender and delicious. I really liked the hash brown cakes and that they still had a little crisp to them. The service was great.

    We wanted a relaxing breakfast to savor & enjoy. The food did not disappoint. The country ham appetizer was a yummy charcuterie-style board with fig jam and fragrant mustard that complimented each other on sourdough toast. The biscuits & gravy were very decadent with heavy sausage in the gravy. Service was excellent & very friendly & never let our cups of coffee get too low. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in Nashville!
