From Chef Srijith Gopinathan and restaurateur Ayesha Thapar, the creators of Ettan, Copra and Little Blue Door, Eylan offers seasonally-driven Cal-Indian cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, with thoughtfully sourced produce and a variety of proteins cooked over the embers and served alongside clever riffs on traditional breads from different regions of India. The bar program by West-Bev and Christopher Longoria draws upon the kaleidoscope of ingredients and techniques that make up global cocktail culture, while also taking inspiration from the culinary traditions of India. Wine director Andre Sydnor's program offers depth in classic regions like Burgundy, Champagne, Piedmont, and California, offering a variety of options for casual wine lovers while including more exclusive selections for serious oenophiles.

    Our parking is located beneath the restaurant in a parking garage. The entrance is located off the intersection of El Camino Real and Middle Ave. If you are going north on El Camino Real, make a right onto Middle Ave (if going south on El Camino Real, make a left) and follow the street to the right. The first downward ramp leads down to our parking garage. This will look like an entrance into the condominiums. Once you get to the bottom turn to the right and drive until you find an elevator to the right along the wall. This will lead to our lobby on the first floor.

Priced at $125 per guest, this five-course journey highlights the finest Cal-Indian seasonal ingredients, masterfully prepared to create a dining experience that is both immersive and unforgettable. Designed to ensure seamless service and an elevated atmosphere, this offering allows larger parties to fully engage with the artistry of our menu while enjoying the warm hospitality that defines our restaurant. A commitment to this tasting menu is required for groups of this size, ensuring that every guest enjoys a meticulously orchestrated experience at the highest level of our culinary vision. All children ages 5-10 years of age will be required to participate in the tasting menu at a $65/person. Children 11 years of age and older will be required to participate at the normal $125/person rate.

                                                    The food was great and our server was thoughtful and kind. Standouts were hamachi, crispy chicken and sea bream. And the shave ice dessert was fantastic. We’re big fans of Ettan and are thrilled that another restaurant has joined the family.

                                                    The food was really good, but not a bit over priced. The atmosphere was lively and a bit too loud. Hard to hear what the staff was saying to us on many occasions. Overall though we really enjoyed it!

                                                    This was my second time eating at Eylan and it was just as good as the first. We tried some dishes that we had before and some new. Only one would we not order again. To me the best dish on the menu is the Tero Root Chaat.

                                                    We had a reservation but were running late (did call ahead). So, when we got there, we had to wait an additional 15-20 mins (which is fair). However, the place seemed very noisy. Not the place you want to go to for a nice quiet evening to spend with family. They were clearly not setup to handle a busy evening. If this is reservation based, I am not sure why they can’t plan for it. The drinks came only after we were already done with all our appetizers. We had to remind them twice about the drinks. When it did come, the cocktails were quite bad. The food was quite good. Does not come close to Ettan or Copra, but good. I think this place would be better if they fix the noise issue (don’t have so many tables so close to each other), prepare better to handle the crowd you’d expect.

                                                    Beautifully decorated space with extremely attentive staff. Lovely twist on Indian food. The staff prepared almost every dish we ordered in a vegan and gluten-free version for me.

                                                    The presentation and the variety of food was excellent. I found the selection to delicious as well as eclectic( not found on your typical Indian restaurant. The spice level was very good , rangy from very spice to moderate but never over spiced. Definitely recommend for vegetarian and people who like to explore food variety. Definitely recommend.

                                                    I visited Eylan to celebrate a special occasion, but unfortunately, the experience didn't match the joyous moment. After we ordered what we wanted, there was strong upselling at the table, leading us to order far more food than necessary. Sadly, this over-ordering meant we couldn't truly savor and appreciate the dishes as we intended. The pulao, a dish particularly meaningful to me, was hardly touched because we were simply too full. Here's something important for the owners and managers to consider: when diners overeat, they lose the ability to fully experience and appreciate the sensory pleasure of the food. If diners instead ordered just the right amount, they'd leave with a richer, more satisfying impression of your restaurant, having fully enjoyed the subtle and delightful flavors of each dish. Encouraging excessive ordering actually undermines your restaurant’s strengths and deprives diners of experiencing the true magnificence of your culinary offerings.

                                                    Extremely noisy. Food items were dramatized more, but not tasty at all. Tequila Old fashioned Cocktail was not well blended and tasted very bitter. Very mediocre for the aura created. Extremely pricey for overall experience.
