We’ve always loved this restaurant. But it fell short this time. When I raised this, the manager apologized with words, but the tone was so hostile. The starter bread was too hard to eat, the salmon dried out like it had been waiting in a dry environment. Before this, we were herded in to get seated like sheep - with no explanation why we had to queue for 15 minutes on the stairs! Main courses were tasty. Trifle for dessert sounded gorgeous, but was 12 euro for a very measly and lacking glass container. A real shame. When I tried to pay, no server could be found. At the front desk the manager was brisk and even at that stage tried to overcharge me (accidentally!)

Food v good - starters very small portions though Wine list very (too!)pricey with very few reasonable offers Service lovely except feels rushed and that staff are trying to move you in very quickly Room lovely Very loud but I suspect that was the time of the year- Christmas

Excellent a la carte Christmas menu - duck as a main course and trifle for dessert , a delicious Portuguese white wine and finished off with an Irish coffee . Very well prepared and presented food , an appealing menu overall, friendly staff - pretty good value for. Such quality and ambience

Food is fresh and the service is fantastic.But the portion is a little small .we took a long time to wait cooking.It is very good for wedding and birthday party.
