Fantail is a 42-year-old second-generation family-owned Seafood & Steakhouse specializing in amazing Ribeyes, Smoked items, Gulf Raw Oysters, Fried, Grilled, and Boiled Seafood. Fantail has an elegant and warm atmosphere where we surround our customers and friends with over three generations of our family mementos and collections of past adventures. We offer live music most Fridays and Saturdays with no cover charge. Fantail has a very extensive menu and a full cocktail bar with frosty draft beer and incredible mixed drinks! My sister and I have been twice on Sundays for brunch. Crystal was our server both times and she is awesome! She knows the menu and how the dishes/drinks are prepared. She is kind and has a good sense of humor! The food is awesome as well. We look forward to going back and trying new items!

It’s decent food but definitely over priced. I will go again but not for steak or crab legs. I could have went somewhere else with just as good food for half the price. When I pay 55 dollars for a steak it should be a nice dress up restaurant. But they had live entertainment which was nice.

The food was delicious and the staff was attentive but not Overbearing. Definitely enjoyed and Plan to continue me back. It was pricey! More than we budget for s meal. I’ll try lunch next time. Again, food was delicious! Service was perfect!

The food was amazing with a wonderful brunch menu assortment! We were seated immediately and our server came right away. She would get busy with other tables and at 1 point a young man happened by and saw my mimosa glass was empty and asked if he could get me another. Everything was perfect! We will make it a standing 10:15 reservation!

The French toast compote was amazing. Cornbread and grits were really good. Unfortunately the eggs and bacon were not. Asked for eggs scrambled soft and it was a dry omelet cut up and the bacon was really crunchy (I know it is a personal preference) It is a small up of coffee and the waitress only filled it half way. We got tired of asking to fill it up on refills. Either ran out of cream or sugar or both numerous times and the waitress was nowhere to be found so buy the time we got it the coffee was cold. Great for dinner and will continue coming for that, but breakfast was pricey and not good with bad service...bad combo. We got there at 10a and there were not a lot of people at the time so I really do not understand it. Maybe this experience was a one-off.

A basic fish camp setting with good food and lots of it. A customer leaving as I was walking in said “they have great food in there” and I would agree after my meal.
