At Farm and Fire we believe that good food doesn’t have to be complicated. Our menu features only the freshest ingredients from local Canadian farmers. Because it’s slow roasted and wood-fired, we bring out the natural flavours Mother Nature intended. Come enjoy our warm and open modern dining space. Toast with friends by the warmth of the fire and stay for a while. Or, order your food to go and dine wherever you like, at your own pace.

    Delicious food for brunch. Creatively curated flavours in my Holy Cow bowl that were very tasty right to the end. We enjoyed the vibe here- light wood and lots of natural light.

    Excellent service. We had the rotisserie chicken with carrots as a side followed by the smores and apple crumble, which was all very filling and tasted great. The waiter gave us great advice regarding the menu and knew the portion sizes and dishes well. The downside was we were seated in the entrance and the wooden chair was not at all comfortable. Also, there was not a potato option without thyme.

    Yet another excellent experience at Farm & Fire. Accommodating restaurant that made our party of 8 very welcome. Great table choice and our server helped with suggestions and did not over sell. Tomohawk and full chicken excellent as were sides of mash, croquettes, risotto and carrots. Philosophy and leadership evident in all staff, an example to management. Our favourite in Banff this holiday fortnight.

    First time in Banff and heard good things so booked for 4 for an early dinner. Busy sitting area by the bar, that was very noisy on arrival so much so struggled to hear the server and each other… However excellent food and drink- decent selection behind the bar and the sharing courses came in very good value. As a concept the place works really well just maybe ask to be seated away from the bar for a bit of quiet.

    The restaurant is well lit. Our hostess was lovely and congratulated us on our anniversary. Our waiter, Levi, did a great job letting me know what options I had based on my food allergies. He was able to set aside one ingredient that I was allergic to so that if my husband wanted to have it on his dish he could. All our dish choices were tasty. My favorite was the Caesar salad. It had a nice char flavor, the crisp texture of the capers added a savoriness on top of the parmigiana. We ordered the half rotisserie chicken and pork tenderloin with two sides, the maple roasted carrots and the oyster mushrooms. All the dishes were tasty. Our dessert was amazing as well, crisp texture of the farmer’s fritter, with the center almost custard like texture, soft. We also appreciated that our dessert was complimentary to help us celebrate our anniversary.

    We ate the Fungi pizza which was delicious. I normally only eat 2 slices of pizza but I couldn’t stop eating this one. Our server was amazing and extremely sweet. Planning on coming back already.
