Reservations are open for dinner only, lunch is walk ins only.

What’s in the name you ask? We don’t really know, other than the fact that it has a good ring to it.

Nothing really about this place makes much sense. Are we a butcher shop or a restaurant? Are we a butcher shop inside of a restaurant? Or a restaurant inside of a butcher shop?

In our spare time we like to build fires and cook food over wood, you can hire us to do that. We make all of our own charcuterie in house, and we’re determined to get better at that everyday.

How do two concepts operate together in harmony? We don’t really know yet, but we will work at it ‘til it’s seamless. One thing we do know, all of the meat served and sold between these four walls is strictly derived from whole animals butchered in-house, sourced from happy places.

Join us for a night with Beba! Beba is an intimate restaurant in the heart of Verdun, Montreal. Their cuisine is inspired by the Spanish and Italian cultures that settled in Argentina. Beba's menu is based on the best ingredients available throughout the year, anchored in old world cooking techniques and a guiding principle of simplicity. Chef Ari Schor will be taking over Fat Rabbit for one evening only, with a special, pre-set menu.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner with friends from out of town. They were amazed by the range of dishes and quality. Family style dining is the way to go since you can try a bit of each dish. With 9 dishes ordered and drinks, we left feeling full and satisfied.

This was our 1st time going. The staff were great and helpful to answer all our questions. The food was fresh and amazing and cooked to perfection. We love that local businesses are used for sourcing their products. It's a great dining experience overall.

Amazing service. Didn't feel rushed at all. Food was fantastic. Tried the burger. It was delicious, although one person at our table had their burger over salted. For the price, the vegetables came in rather small quantities. Worth it though. Perhaps they could be a wee bit less fancy with slightly greater quantities. Charcuterie was fantastic. Definitely recommended the pickles. If you have room for dessert, highly recommend. Sharing is not only allowed, but recommended. A fun evening.

We had the sourdough bread, mushroom lasagna and burger, big portions, so happy we shared, even the coffee was good, so filling we couldn't have dessert, definitely will make room for dessert next time. All I have to say it was amazing , everything from the time we stepped in to the time we left, hospitalty was welcoming, atmosphere was comfortable , food was "ORGASMIC " . Definitely on our last to come back. Thank you ♥️

What a great little restaurant. I came alone and don’t feel out of place at all. The vibe is homey, comfortable, and quality. My recommendation would be to come with a group of 2-4 because the plates are made for sharing, but I was able to enjoy a small plate and steak all to myself with no trouble - the staff made some great recommendations and the service is exceptional. If you’re looking for a farm to table where the ingredients shine, this spot is perfect.

We enjoyed our experience here. Loved how small the restaurant is. The fresh cuts of meat at the counter that you can select for your meal is such a cool vibe. Wine list was great. Our server was so helpful and cheerful. Would def recommend this place and would go again.
