We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

PIZZA

Naples is the birthplace of pizza… Soft and pillowy, rather than thin and crispy or a pizza pie. Our dough is made by us every day, proved for a minimum of 24 hours, then topped by our pizzaioli who cook every pizza in our ovens at 450+ degrees. Buon appetito!

Always busy so prebooked for Saturday 6.30 to avoid line-up. Service and friendliness of staff excellent. Food was as always lovely ... Best pizza in the city !

Staff were lovely, found the place a bit cramped, hot, and noisy. Due to small space& many tables close together background noise of other diners was quite intense and then also fairly loud music made it difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice. Not a good environment for noise sensitive autistics. Drinks menu a little limited. Garlic bread& lasagna bites nice. Calzone was a bit over cheesy for my taste.

Absolutely lovely place. Went for a family meal during a short break in Brighton. Food was fresh and delicious. Lovely vibe, friendly staff. Clearly very popular as wasn't a spare table on a Monday night ! Highly recommend.

One of my favourite spots in Brighton. Visited for the first time after moving away for a few years and the pizza is still as good as I remember. Especially happy that they have kept the Marinara on the menu! The service was excellent and the whole team were so accommodating! Couldn’t fault the whole experience, thank you
