In the Felisa Tapas Bar, from the excellent Spanish food to the wide variety of drinks to the Mediterranean atmosphere, you can feel the “La vida loca” come to life with us.
With Hospitality and Gastronomy in her veins, Felicia Nagy realized her vision with this restaurant, thanks to her father, who runs the famous Hungarian Hell’s Kitchen, representing the traditional flavours of Hungary.
With the Felisa Tapas Bar, they wanted to bring something new to the Gastronomic map of Budapest, creating the experience of Tapas and delicacies with a Mediterranean atmosphere around the Basilica.

Great location, disorganized service and the food was a mixed bag. Location: just in front of St. Stephan basilica. Can’t find a better location. Service: very helpful waiter that offered some tips and suggestions. Food arrived fast. But a colleague of his came after the first dish and thought we were finished and wanted to clear the table and bring the check. Food: A mixed bag. Some of the tapas were really great (Jamon in Creamed spinach, fried aubergine, seafood paella) and some were a big failure (calamari, pork ribs). Ambiance is nice. Lively. Live music. Would I go there again? Sure. But need to stay away from the bad tapas.

Restaurant did not care that we had made a booking but before we even sat down we were given a list of things they had run out of, including Paella. We were then shown to a table next to the toilets and left for 10 minutes (not even given a menu). In that time we spoke to the people on the only other attended table in the same room and they said they weren't happy with the service or the food so far, so we left. This is a clear tourist trap.

A lovely little Spanish restaurant in the heart of Pest, in Budapest. Very welcoming and a really quaint atmosphere. Our waiter made the evening, he was just so charming and informative, but fun too. The tapas were good, but not brilliant, but for our group, it was exactly what we needed.
