   This was my first time at Fig & Olive and it was great. I was there for a business dinner but it would be good for any occasion. I had a simple dinner of their butternut squash soup and some salmon with roast vegetables. I opted to get a dessert because they have a lemon olive oil cake with an olive oil semifreddo that is dairy free - a rare find, because most restaurants don't offer dairy free desserts, and if they do, it's usually sorbet, which is fine, and this restaurant had that on the menu also. The entire meal was absolutely delicious and I will keep this restaurant as a go-to when I am in midtown every March.

   Wonderful experience. Food was exceptional. They even remembered my children's bday and brought a dessert on the house. Very thougthful. Love this place. I will be back.

   Always reliable. Tasty food for NYC midtown good value, prompt and very good service. Good range of options on a modest sized menu. Effective for business lunches even with the high noise level due to mix of social and business diners

    We were promptly seated and attended to. We were a bit disappointed that we both had to order the NY Restaurant Prix Fixe, not just the one who wanted it so we both had to order off the regular menu which seemed a bit silly. But the food we ordered was beautifully presented and tasty. Butternut squash soup was delicious with the toasted pumpkin seeds & cream. Chicken paillard sandwich was enjoyed by my guest and my salmon and shrimp salad had lovely fresh greens & the fish cooked to perfection. Coffees and great conversation throughout made for a lovely leisurely lunch.
