   Good food and good service. We went in for a bite to eat before seeing a show. They offer a 20% discount if you are seeing a performance at The Golden State Theater.

   The hotel was great the staff was super helpful and our waiter Brian was amazing only issue I had was my steak was too dry even though I asked for well done it was so extremely dry and also there was no sauce on the ribeye I was expecting more flavor for $52 I had a much higher expectation. My boyfriend liked his soup and his appetizer he wasn’t a big fan of the entree the Valentine’s Day special. We did have a few people who were extremely loud for no reason around us which was pretty annoying the wine was amazing!! I love the estancia wine delicious! I mean overall it was good/fair.

   The ribeye steak was overpriced considering it only included mixed vegetables. Add Mashed/baked potato? Cauliflower steak was delicious and service was great!

   We had dinner one night and breakfast the next morning. Dinner was tasty and affordable. We had a great waiter Ricky. It was a nice experience. For breakfast, we opted for the buffet. There was so much food and it was good quality. I felt the price was a little steep ($33 each). Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.

   Beautiful, elegant but inviting. Our family of 5 were welcomed without hesitation. Drinks and dessert were delicious!

   Very slow service. Out of stock on some items such as premium cabernet wine and vanilla ice cream. Wait staff told us service will be even slower on Christmas so we decided to go elsewhere for Christmas dinner. Breakfast was the best meal, skip the rest.

   We had a great experience. Bartender was super friendly. Our server was awesome and gave us honest reviews of his favorite foods. Clam chowder was yummy. The hamburger could have used a sauce, but steak fries were good. Steak sandwich was a favorite. The halibut atop a pasta was unusual but very tasty. If you are staying at the Marriot this is a good easy choice of places to eat. If you are visiting Monterey, I feel like it is also a solid choice.

    The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.
