The fish is fresh and the sake is strong at Fin, our oceanview sushi restaurant, located inside the historic Hotel Laguna in the heart of Downtown Laguna Beach. Offering the freshest daily-caught local seafood as well as imported delicacies like Hokkaido scallops and firefly squid, plus a selection of award-winning sake, it is a thrilling adventure in flavor and fun. Belly up to the Tokyo-style bar for lively chef interaction and unforgettable omakase or take a table overlooking the sea and sample to your heart’s desire.

                                                                    first time here, food was terrific. We ordered from the sushi menu which was fantastic, but we could see all the other food go by like burgers, tacos and salads and all of it looked delicious. Service was also excellent, our sushi came very quickly, the ambience was world class, we had a terrific table overlooking the ocean. Excellent excellent experience. Will be going again.

                                                                    I recently dined at Hotel Laguna's restaurant and had a disappointing experience. We faced difficulty when requesting an outdoor table, despite several tables being open. The interior was uncomfortably hot, and the menu options were confusing. Initially, we were told that sushi was only available indoors, but later discovered it was also served outside after 5pm with a limited selection. The hosts were unhelpful and rude, though the waiter was patient and polite. The DJ's performance was average with outdated music. The food was overpriced and did not meet expectations. Considering the many other dining options in Laguna Beach with better views and service, I would not recommend Hotel Laguna’s restaurant.
