Food was delicious. Service was amazing. Ambiance was fantastic, there was one person that sat at the bar and he was so loud, I swear everyone could have been a part of their conversation, that wasn’t the restaurants fault though. Food was a bit expensive. I don’t know why everything came in threes other than the motivation being money. To make it so two people could evenly share the oysters and scallops, we would have to buy another one. Reservations will typically come in pairs, two people on a date, two couples out together, why wouldn’t an appetizer come in pairs? Personally I think, for $34, two scallops per person would make sense for the price, but having to pay $10 for an extra scallop, seems just a little steep for me. The affogato was delicious, I was a little surprised at how little gelato it came with, by the time the espresso was poured, the gelato was melted and we were still expected to eat it with a spoon, a little bit more gelato would have been perfect. Our total bill came out to $385~. That was two cocktails per person, one bottle of white wine($88), oysters, scallops for the appetizer, our main meal, I had the short rib (so good), my husband had the duck (also, delicious), bread, two desserts, and 2 espresso martinis.
Overall delicious, would be back for a special occasion. I certainly couldn’t justify making this restaurant a frequent visit for us though.
