Fiola Miami brings the cuisine and culture of Italy to Coral Gables, "The City Beautiful." Recognized as one of the best fine-dining Italian restaurants in South Florida, Fiola Miami is Fabio Trabocchi's first restaurant venture outside of Washington D.C. and marks the Michelin-starred brand's second location.

Our menus are founded on authentic Italian traditions creatively evolved for the contemporary palate. Each dish blends our passion for the season and local ingredients with rich nostalgia and unexpected delight.

Fiola Miami's unparalleled wine portfolio places an emphasis on luxury wines and exclusive partnerships with national and international wineries. Fiola offers nightly dinner service; a Prix Fixe Lunch ($42) and Happy Hour menu available Tuesday through Friday; and Sunday Brunch. The Bar features select items from our dinner menu, alongside craft cocktails. Fiola is renowned for hosting events in our private dining rooms, outside in our luxe tent, or as a full buyout.

    Disappointed…the restaurant is beautiful, and the meal started off well enough. The bread and burrata appetizers were good but not outstanding. For my entree I splurged for the Tomahawk steak, while the exterior was well seasoned, the presentation was top notch and the seasoning was great, the steak was severely undercooked and served lukewarm (not hot). On top of that our waiter disappeared so unless I wanted to get up and go to the hostess stand I had no way to express my issues. In fact, we had to grab another worker to ask for our leftovers to be packed up and get our check. Not what you expect dropping several hundred dollars for a meal. The restaurant manager did make a slight adjustment to our check when we were paying and he heard about our issues, so maybe we’ll try again another time.

    Service was amazing, we went Sunday at 8pm basically the place was empty but that meant we had more attention from servers I guess.. The drink were decent, 6.5/10 Food was 8/10 Portions are very small and much overpriced, you will leave hungry which I don’t believe is acceptable when paying $300 for two. We ordered 3 entrees and still left hungry lol, tiramisu was amazing and very large portion of it which was nice to see.

    This restaurant is special. The food is absolutely 5 star. Amazing wine list, wide ranging, including some of my favorite Bordeaux and Italian (lots of awesome Amarones). For apps, we had the sour dough bread (heavenly), the Wagyu meatball (one of the best we’ve had) and a cream/madeira soup with pasta that was gorgeous (I’m running out of superlatives). But there were noticeable gaps. I look at this place through the lens of a Ritz Carlton experience. They are likely the most expensive in their category, so it better be worth it and on point. Let’s start with walking in. It was raining. Valet is $20 with tip, and they don’t offer the ladies to be covered by an umbrella. We were seated quickly on a 2 top on a banquette but they didn’t pull the table out for the banquette side for my wife so I did it myself. Our waiter brought the menus, but no wine list. Got one from a mgr. Mine you wine is a huge strength for the business. They should give a 30-60 second overview on the list (eg we have extensive Bordeaux and Cabernets, I can send over the sommelier, wonderful wines by the glass, special cocktails, etc. None of that happened. We picked a nice red Bordeaux. Main courses: Wife had risotto with truffle, I had the wagyu strip medium rare and we got a side of creamed corn. The risotto was great. The strip was one of if not the best steaks I’ve had. Phenomenal! Creamed corn was also the best I’ve had. So on to desserts. I had put in my reservation that it is my wife’s birthday and asked for a tiramisu with a candle. They brought a lemon dessert which she doesn’t like. We got it replaced, but it spoiled the little surprise. Finally, it was raining on the way out, and the valets didn’t volunteer an umbrella. Little things matter when you are this expensive, and expectations are very high. UPDATE: One of the rest execs called. Super impressed by his attention to getting it right. Just to be clear, we loved our meal and will be back!
