    We had theater tickets - which we told our waiter. Obviously, he had no sway over the kitchen because it took a long time to receive our food. We had to rush to eat, then rush to the theater. It took about 40 minutes to get our food.

    The food was great, steaks were fantastic and the lobster fondue was perfect. Server was great and we were very happy with everything, we will be back.

    Overall, Firebirds is a solid choice for good food and a nice ambience. But if you are looking for a top tier steakhouse, Firebirds lands just a little short.

    Called to say running late 10 minutes. Arrived 8 minutes late. Was told they had a few reservations to seat before us. 25 minutes later still waiting. No apology. Dining room had lots of room open, no reason for wait given. I hosted for 20 years, should have given me a reason. Nice enough young man, but didn’t act like he cared. Good value just ok. Cold vegetables when expected hot. Carrots were way overdone. Salad came out wrong, sent back with food runner, 2 minutes later server brought out the same wrong salad. What, don’t they know what each other are doing? Waiter was training a new server, did a nice job and big I had to ask, are you training? She was hanging behind him. I think he should have introduced her without being asked.
