The kitchen is the heart of the Campbell house which is why we created an expedition kitchen so customers can see all of the love and hard work that goes into our dishes. firefly's vision is a sustainable one; the frame of the building is recycled steel, all of the barn wood is reclaimed as is much of our furniture, the pond irrigates our gardens which greatly reduce our carbon footprint along with all the trash that comes with packaging food, we compost, are constantly upgrading our energy efficiency and NEVER use chemical fertilizers or pesticides in our garden.

    We went for the NYE Tasting. The menu was phenomenal. The experience is top-notch! No where in Effingham can you have a romantic dinner like you can at Firefly.

    New years eve tasting was amazing!!! Our server made the night so fun, relaxing and made us feel so so welcome. Food was delicious, tasted fresh, the perfect sizes .... I will be watching for the next tasting.

    The food was amazing along with the service. My 15 year old son is hard to please and he wants to go back tomorrow lol. It was our 21st wedding anniversary and everything was perfect! We will be back soon!

    King crab and shrimp stew was fantastic and filet was one of the best I’ve ever had. I could cut it with a fork!

    We had a most wonderful time and the food was delicious. We don't go often but its a treat when we do go.

    Please add more vegetarian options or be flexible when an accommodation is requested. There were no vegetarian appetizers available. Overall love this place.

    Fantastic service. Fantastic food. Fifty bucks for a pour of Pappy 15 year…. I feel like that’s kinda steep! There was also a random surcharge added to our tab with no explanation.
