Never had a raclette in UK before - great idea and very well delivered. Everything was delicious and arrived promptly. Loads of gorgeous cheese, plus roasted veg, bread, charcuterie, pickles etc, washed down with creative cocktails. Great that there’s a vegetarian and a vegan option. Tart for pud was good too. Price seemed very reasonable for such a substantial meal. Looking forward to the next chef in the New Year already!

The staff and atmosphere was great. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We booked this time for Raclette and thought it would be a good Christmas experience with yummy gooey cheese. However, the cheese was served on a cold plate and by the time it came to our table it was cold and hard so you couldn’t dip the vegetables and bread in it. So we never got our gooey cheese sensation which is what Raclette is all about. So basically we had a bowl of vegetables which were very uninspiring, a couple of slices of baguette and some pickles served with hard tasteless cheese.

Hi Anna, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with our Raclette pop up. Absolutely not how it should be - the cheese is supposed to be served directly off wheels at the table, so I'm working out how this didn't happen for you, and making sure it doesn't happen again. In all honesty, last weekend was a nightmare for a variety of reasons, and I'm so sorry you got the bad end of the stick. Will be contacting you directly to offer proper compensation.

Turned up to an "endless" raclette night - except they had run out of cheese and was no longer "endless", but was, rather, restricted to two scrapes each!!! ! It was only 7.30pm. However, rather than offer us a discount, they still wanted the full price. What a load of crock - they have no idea about customer service. I will never go back, and I will tell my friends the same. Sort of place that goes bust in a month then bleats about customers not coming in.

Hi Aidan. I'm so sorry you had such a negative experience. You are absolutely right that the 7th December was a nightmare night for us, where we almost ran out of cheese, and everything went wrong. We thought we had offered significant discounts to anyone who didn't get at least three full servings of cheese, but if that didn't happen for you, I'm truly sorry. I have contacted you on a different platform and not heard back, but will try privately here too. We won't be running out of cheese again any time soon, and hopefully we can learn from our mistakes and get this pop up back to what it should be. But sincere apologies again.

Delightful experience. The Raclette was superb, served with excellent charcuterie and veg. A very nice ambience and service was excellent. Five Star.

Amazing food from Chim Chim. The staff are fantastic. A round of drinks is a bit eye-watering, but that discourages over-doing it. Nice venue.

Our first time at First Draft. We loved the quirky feel and thought the statement on the toilet wall was brilliant. The waitress, unfortunately didn’t get her name, was lovely and so attentive, despite the amount of customers she had. The cocktail were unusual, not the run of the mill and delicious! Now the food….Chim Chim in da house, oh my!!! What an explosion of fresh, clean taste. Absolutely out of this world. Superb.

The mains were delicious, as were the cocktails. Service was amazing. Such a cool place with a great atmosphere, will definitely come back.

We dined as a table of 3 and were delighted to get the bath seat! Go visit to see for yourself… The service was great, friendly and helpful. The food was incredible, it was the Egyptian/Syrian menu and we almost ordered the whole menu to share as we wanted to try everything! It was all delicious, perfectly balanced, authentic flavours. Dessert was a highlight - the baklava was yummy but the mango cake - exceptional! Expected it to be heavy and very sweet but it was light, fruity and just the right level of sweetness. Looking forward to revisiting in future - the upcoming raclette has got to be done! Thanks First Draft!
