    Celebrating the ingredients, flavors, and techniques from his heritage, Chef Michael Mina introduces his most personal project yet, My Egypt: Cooking from My Roots. We are excited to share dishes from this new project, inspired by the culinary journey that has shaped Michael into the chef and person he is today. Enjoy our three-course, family-style experience menu (choice of entrée for main course) curated with our Mina's Fish House favorites along with a few dishes from My Egypt. This experience is for parties of two or more, $125 per person. Optional $25 upgrade to include a copy of My Egypt.

    Mina's Fish House is excited to offer a curated seafood experience, with a variety of fresh catches from the local waters, supplementing occasionally with premium Japanese seafood catches. The limited seating is round-table, "omakase"-style starring Michael Mina's hand-picked local Fish Sommeliers walking the small seating through each delicious plate. This 5-Course offering features a tailored Amuse-Bouche, then goes into a cold plate, a hot plate, then an entree course, finally finishing with a curated dessert. Various beverages and pairings may be enjoyed a la carte. Maximum seating is 10 guests for this experience, be prepared to sit as a group and get personal time with the Fish Sommelier to enjoy a meal together.

    Lovely place with great food and extraordinary service. It's outdoors and started to sprinkle. Staff ran up with umbrellas for us within seconds! Our server Brittany was wonderful and personable. We did the fish experience and it was a fun menu and a great value. The shishito pepper dish was my favorite and the rice pudding was unexpectedly delicious. Will be back!

    Upon seating we were greeted with some water. We then looked over the menu and were making our selections. When the waiter arrived we proceeded with our order and asked they please time it out. We ordered three cocktails and proceeded to wait. Next thing we knew we had the appetizers on the table and we hadn’t received a cocktail yet. We also ordered a nice bottle of wine that had not shown up either. We then waited for our cocktails to arrive before we started to eat the appetizers. Shortly after the cocktails arrived, dinner also magically arrived and we hadn’t even finished the appetizers yet. Shortly after dinner arrived, the wine arrived. The food (steak, fish and fries) were sitting on the table. A medium steak suddenly became a well done steak and the fish was cold. The steak was “grey” and unevenly cooked. It would seem they placed the steak half on the grill and half off. We ate as fast as we could so we could try to get out of here and out of their way. I’m sick and tired of restaurants rushing you out and are horrible at timing courses. Such a disappointment. I do not believe we will come back.

    We split 4 appetizers: 1) Marlin dip,2) Roasted Shiseido peppers, 3) King Crab Endive Salad and 4) Beef lettuce wraps and we each had a special drink from Happy Hour menu! It was alll delicious, beautifully presented and in a stellar ocean view setting! And then we had dessert ... Choc Mousse for me and Rice Pudding for my friend! The perfect topper to a lovely evening! Now I know why Minas always gets great reviews! I'm lucky to live 15 mins away so will be back often!

    We had an exceptional dinner at Nina‘s Fishhouse with a wonderful seafood tower and some of the best fresh fish we’ve had so far. We plan to return January 3 for a birthday dinner and take advantage of the lobster pot pie. That looks like the star on the menu. We had excellent service and it was a beautiful night with an incredible view. It is hard to beat Nina’s Fishhouse for a special occasion dinner

    For the money, the steak shouldn’t taste like Choice ; it should taste like a Prime Cut. Its almost like eating steak at IHOP. Oysters itself was good, but the garnishes should be up to Mina’s level as in the Bay Area and Vegas. I met Michael many times; I’m pretty sure if he saw what was served… He would agree as well.
