Located at an elevation of 6,000 feet, the Flagstaff House offers breathtaking views, new American cuisine, a world-renowned wine list and impeccable service. Local and seasonal cuisine take the spotlight in curating our menu. Offered are a four-course or Chef's multi-course tasting menu. The Monette family has owned the Flagstaff House since 1971 and holds many prestigious awards including Colorado's longest holding Wine Spectator Grand Award, Forbes Travel Guide Four Star rating and AAA Four Diamond status.     Thank you for choosing the Flagstaff House for your celebratory dinner! Reservations for May 7-9, 2025, open on January 16, 2025, at 2 PM (MST) and must be made directly by calling 303-442-4640. We are offering a 4-course menu for $185 per person. Due to high demand and limited availability, we kindly ask each family to make only one reservation during this special time. To ensure a smooth process, please have your party size, preferred date, and all reservation details ready when booking. A valid credit card is required to confirm your reservation, and cancellations or no-shows will result in a $50 per person fee. We look forward to celebrating with you!

    Excellent dining experience, fantastic view and great service. A must do if you visit Boulder and are into fine dining. It feels like a Michelin start restaurant!

    The food was amazing. The service was impeccable and the views are to die for. Flagstaff house is one of the most iconic Boulder establishments for a reason.

    This was our second time having dinner at the Flagstaff House, the food, service, and the view were amazing. We have eaten at several high end restaurants, but none better than the Flagstaff House.

    We came here a few months ago and it was amazing. The menu was a 5 course, with at least 4 options on each course. In addition to the 5 courses, they had palate cleansers in between each course. Couldn’t wait to take my sister here for her bday. We get there and the menu was completely different. The first two courses only had two options to choose from. Needless to say I would have chosen neither of them. Then the palate cleansers? Gone. The most exciting thing about this place was removed. Big fat bummer. We did the wine pairing option for each course. Awful. First course was a sake wine. I’m sorry, but sake is not meant to be in wine form. Second course? A dessert wine. Nobody wants to taste caramel in their wine before dessert. Super disappointment. It is not worth the $105 addition for this. Choose your own wine! I had to send my lamb back because the fat wasn’t rendered. More than 50% of my lamb was fat. I should never have to send food back at a high end place like this. I paid extra for a twice baked potato. It came out as small as a McDonald’s hash brown. Again, beyond disappointing. Be aware - if you love the original layout of this restaurant with all the options and palate cleansers? Avoid it, you will be bummed!

While we no longer offer the same format as before, we remain committed to providing a memorable and high-quality dining experience and are sorry we missed the mark on your visit. We also regret that your lamb dish did not meet expectations and were happy to replace it promptly with a new one.     Food was being way more creative, tastes bitter and spicy, the lobster I had from the five course menu was COLD. They even can’t give us a window side table even we reserved it a week before the dinning, we actually waited for 30 minutes for a nice table with boulder night view. Valet didn’t shut the door for my friend when we were leaving. The JBL speaker was playing loud music. Nothing good but a place with good views. The wine pairing sucks seems they bought from target or whole foods.

    We’re sorry that your evening did not meet your expectations. Regarding your seating, we operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, which was communicated prior to your visit. Upon arrival, we offered several available tables, but we understand that you preferred to wait for a different option. We do our best to accommodate requests and appreciate your patience in waiting for a table with a view you desired. We’re disappointed that we didn’t have the opportunity to address your concerns in the moment. Had we known about the lobster dish, we would have been happy to replace it with a new one. Our wine selections are curated to complement our menu, but we understand that preferences vary, and we’re always open to suggestions. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us.

    This was an AMAZING dining experience. It was our 10th anniversary and we got the best seat in the house overlooking Boulder. The service was next level, we received menus with “happy 10th anniversary” and complimentary desserts with a happy anniversary pastry and candle. Servers and staff were always swooping in to take away plates and give us new napkins etc. anything we needed!! 10000/10 recommend for an occasion, we felt very special.
