Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club is a 17,500-square-foot, multi-concept complex with a polished casual restaurant, three distinguished bars, 400 square feet of LED screens, private karaoke and sports simulator rooms, a central sporting club/nightclub, and a cocktail lounge.

Recognized year after year as Salt Lake City’s Best Sports Bar, the expansive Salt Lake City restaurant & sporting club features elevated American fare prepared from scratch alongside a curated selection of spirits and local craft beers. On weekends, a lively brunch highlights indulgent breakfast favorites and delectable shared plates. Guests will also be treated to instagram-worthy drinks and desserts.

My first time to Flankers. We made reservations for the Christmas Pop-Up bar. We loved the decorations, holiday cheer and immersive experience but we had planned to eat dinner there only to find out, inside the Pop-Up, the food was limited to four choices. My sliders were burnt and dry. Fries were okay. Pizza was lame. Beer and wine selection very limited. Fun holiday speciality drinks if you enjoy sugary cocktails. I would definitely do the Pop-Up again only if I could have a cocktail there and then go to the main bar for the full food menu (hopefully edible food) and full bar. That said, despite the food, my family did have fun.

The service was terrible. She acted like she didn’t even want to be there. Was short and rude and stopped short of eye rolling. Won’t be back. We made these reservations months in advance. Disappointed

Crazy that they won’t seat your party while in the bathroom, and absolutely bananas they don’t sell gift cards!?

Waitress brought each drink at a time for a table for 4, didn’t offer waters. Appetizers arrived promptly but the food arrived over 30 mins after ordering and it wasn’t as warm as desired (steak and fries).

We had reservations at the parlor. The vibe is amazing! The decor is unbelievably fun. Not a lot of food options in that spot so we had some yummy holiday themed cocktails and then went to eat in the sports bar area. Food was really good. I had the chicken and waffles. I love that it was boneless, tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. Lemon pancakes were really good too. Would be 5 star if service were faster, but were patient and they were friendly. We'll be back for sure in Feb for the next theme in the parlor. Probably will come back and rent a simulator room for a party also.

We were so excited to try this out! We thought with making a reservation we’d be at our own table, but we were at at the bar. The tender took awhile to get to us, my draft beer was wrong twice. Then we were asked to move out of the way so they could move a DJ table across the room, then everyone was starting to get kicked out because someone had apparently rented the room out at 1am. The food was okay, I had the pizza. I could see the potential of it to be such a fun experience, but sadly we didn’t enjoy it!

Just as we thought going in through the Pepsi Machine to enter, It was awesome! Xmas movies going on throughout and decorated to the max. Leg lamps the whole bit. Cocktails were fantastic and some really cool different choices. I wouldn't suggest this place to go for dinner as we did. Menu is very small and highly expensive for what you get. Our only regret as we had a best time looking around and soaking in all the fun. We went hungry and thought it would be great for dinner. Bill was $250 for 2 so plan on spending some dough. All in all it was definitely worth it!
