This was my second visit to this restaurant and my partner's first, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
Initially, everything seemed promising. Our waiter greeted us, showed us to our table, and briefly explained how the service worked. However, after that initial interaction, things quickly went downhill.
About 15 minutes into our reservation, the first round of servers offering meat came by. After that, we noticed a significant decline in service. Fewer and fewer servers approached our table, and the rounds of meat consistently bypassed us to serve other tables. At one point, we waited approximately 20 minutes without a single server stopping by with meat options.
Eventually, when a server finally passed by, we expressed our concerns about the lack of service. By that time, our original waiter had completely abandoned our table. A manager was brought over to address the issue. While the manager apologized and offered to waive one of our meals and provide complimentary desserts, we made it clear that our concern wasn’t about receiving free food. We were fully prepared to pay for our meals—the issue was that we were inexplicably being ignored while others were served without issue.
This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, and we will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. The worst part is that based on other reviews this situation seems to be more common than we expected. I would hate to think it is done on purpose depending on the offer that is purchased which would be a discriminatory market practice. Competing establishments in the area, in our experience, have consistently provided far superior service. Regardless of its views or ambiance, this restaurant fails to deliver on the quality and service expected of a steakhouse of its caliber.
