Our reservation was for 2:45 on christmas day. We knew it was going to be crowded, but we didn't get seating until 3:16. The waiting area was congested/ packed and uncomfortable because of the close proximity of other patrons and the noise Overall. The food was good and the service was excellent.

It's an experience! The food is great, the cheese bread is alluring and even a vegetarian can get thier fill in a Churrascuria like this. the salad bar is loaded with hearty salad options, cheeses, meats, candied bacon, all the best salad toppings! and so very much more. The gauchos walk around with freshly grilled cuts of meat, they tell you what they are serving and then slice it off for you.. The sides are delicious. We went on Christmas Eve. Lively atmosphere. IncrediblyFestive!

While the food was delicious, our service the entire evening was absolutely terrible. It was impossible to get our servers attention the entire evening, only end up being served 1 tiny portion of the a la carte side dishes that normally are supposed to be bottomless and constantly refilled throughout the evening. Keep in mind, we had 6 people in our party and all together probably 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes. When we go to Fogo de Chao, we always look forward to the lamb chops because we rarely ever get to eat lamb chops anywhere else. When a server brought lamb chops over, there was only 2 on the stick, and 6 of us that wanted one. The server assured us he would come right back with a fresh portion and to no surprise, was never seen again. In another effort, we ended up asking 3 separate servers to please bring over lamb chops, which they all politely agreed but never followed up on. After about 25 minutes, we decided to give up and cut our losses for the night. At this point, it took us over 30 minutes and speaking to a manager to get our check brought over to us. While we love the food at Fogo de Chao, the service was enough to keep us from going back, at least to the National Harbor location.

Overall great food. The salad bar in particular was outstanding. Service was a bit slow at the beginning though and it took a while for the meat to come out. Service did improve towards the end.

Slow to bring meat. Brought out a lot of cheap cuts and never saw the nicer cuts of meat. The wait staff didn’t really pay attention and we were sat out in an area where we didn’t see much action. Seemed like by the time the wait staff came to us they ran out of the meat. The lady in charge really wanted to push us to the all you can eat bar before giving us any steak… the steak wasn’t very well seasoned either. I don’t think it’s worth the money.

My party of 8 was shoved between the bar and other tables. No one brought around filet until the end and we had to ask twice for it. Do not go here if you have a vegetarian in your party. His entree didn't come until we were all done . He barely touched it saying it did not taste good and left his $40 entree on table when we left. This was for a holiday dinner. We asked for the window and I was embarrassed. We could barely get out of our seats on both sides to get to the buffet as we were squeezed in there where I could not even pull out my chair.
